Sporthotel Obereggen

My 5 star overall rating speaks for itself. There is literally nothing to complain about, everything is top notch, The staff on every level, the facilities, the quality of food and service! This was our 3rd time at the hotel and every time we come we only seeing improvements. Well done everyone. The location is also great. We flew from London to Verona, rented a car and in 1:45 minutes were here. Definitely will be back!

I want to mention the architect who created this wonderful place to honor him. It was my father. Dipl. Ing Maximilian Siegl.He designed it in the 70s, and it looked quite different. He also created a lot of the interior design. His goal was for people to enjoy the fantastic view in summer and winter and relax in a gorgeous place. I am very proud of him.

What an enjoyable experience! We went for a relaxing ski vacation with good food and comfortable beds and that’s what we got and more. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the rooms were maintained spotlessly, the food was always delicious. I really enjoyed the pools and the spa, although sometimes I admit I was too tired to take advantage of it all. And it really IS right at a wonderfully interesting ski resort.

We stayed one week. Excellent hotel with a fantastic cuisine and nice rooms. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection from salty to sweet to fruity. Whatever one wants they had it. Dinner was a highlight every day. The service was very obliging and the wine card had good selection of wines from South Tirol. My wife has a food allergy and she had not one time a problem with a dish. The kitchen team did a great job there as well. If there is one thing that could be slightly improved then it is in the bar section. When there are many guests the bartender has trouble to serve everyone quickly. But this is really not a show stopper. In summary: we definitely will stay there again.

Great hotel, located right next to the ski slopes, ski schools, ski lifts, rental equipment, shops and first aid, restaurant and apres ski bars! (All within a 30 meter walk!) The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay happy and relaxed. Although the hotel doesn’t offer vegan meals, we spoke with the restaurant staff and the chefs created new meals for us every day (as well as a wide selection of a salad buffet beforehand) If I were to make one minorly critical point: it would be nice to have at least one fixed vegan option on the menu every day. We were tired on the last day and decided to visit some nearby towns, unfortunately we got caught in a blizzard on the way back up to the hotel. The hotel owner himself came out and pulled our car up the hill with his 4x4 himself! (Many thanks Gottfried, this is service well beyond our expectations :-)) The hotel itself has a welcoming reception, delightful fire, swimming pool, sauna and a hotel bar. This was a fantastic trip with plenty of fun blue and red ski slopes (with one or two black ones as well) I highly recommend this hotel and thank them for making this a memorable stay. Many thanks!
