Very nice hotel. Room very comfortable and spacious better than expected. Very cosy too. Buffet breakfast also very good. Very good spread of food. I really enjoy the breakfast here. Service very good. Very happy n I strongly recommend visitors to stay here if you have a car, otherwise is abit far from town.

Booked this hotel for our visit to the Plitvice Lakes while on vacation. Nice location only about 20 minutes from either entrance to the Plitvice Lakes. The food for dinner and breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. All of the staff was very welcoming, and the room was really nice. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again if back in the area.

Some of the previous reviews are strange or misleading. The hotel is in a small town, not Paris or Milan. It is clean, very quiet, and modern with a friendly staff. The only downside might be room lighting that is a bit dim (or perhaps you could call it romantic!) The restaurant is fine and very reasonably priced. They advertise that they don't serve beef and that seemed to attract a large Indian tour group when we had dinner there. The staff was somewhat overwhelmed but worked very hard and remained polite. For this reason, I'm not sure I can give a representative dinner review. The hotel is the only choice for dinner in the town. Breakfast (with normal guest load) was quite good. The town is worth a walking visit. I didn't see any obvious signs of war damage. Like all small towns in Croatia, it is losing population. It is a Serb town and that certainly contributes to the loss of population - some of the former residents fought for the "other side". My wife and I spoke to an elderly man who lives alone. His children and grandchildren live in Serbia now, but visit for a month or two each summer. He assured us that they all feel safe in Croatia. Frankly, our visit added to our understanding of the country and its history.
