Coral Cotillo Beach

Zamówiony pokoj z widokiem na basen-otrzymałam najgorszy pokój w hotelu-z widokiem na ulicę, pod przystankiem autobusowym i koszem na śmieci. Coś okronego-jeżdżące samochody, autobusy po gości jaki te przywozace podczas postoju nie wyłaczały silników. Już o 8 rano zaczynało się podjeżdżanie.I dodatkodo od rana hałas na budowie na przeciewko. Nie wymienili pokoju, biuto podróży dało mały ekwiwalent pienieżny. Nie wiadomo, kto zawinił... NIE MA POKOJU I KONIEC. Sam hotel fajny, Zero muzyki przy basenie.-można było relaksować sie. Miałam opcje tylko ze śniadanie-codizennie to samo ale można było wybierać. Minus za brak zielonych sałat. Lodówka w pokoju to tylko mebel-ledwie chłodziła, wifi czasem przerywało ale spoko. Cotillo rewelacja!

By far one of our favourite holidays ever, lovely location lovely staff food was nice but cold on occasions. Rooms, AC, pool, pool bar, gym, just everything overall is absolutely brilliant and cannot beat it for the price that we paid genuinely a bargain!!!

We had a lovely ten days at this hotel. You really can't beat the gorgeous pool area with lots of balinese beds and a huge pool. The food was good but we were rather disappointed when the evening meal changed from buffet to a la carte after a few days. I appreciate the reason for this in that the hotel was not full and it avoided waste but to us it was a bit of a disaster, not always liking what came or things not being what we'd ordered! We were also very surprised at having arrived at the hotel at 9.45 p.m, we were not offered anything to eat at all even though we were half board and would not be there for evening meal on our last day. We asked if we could have a meal at the snack bar in lieu which was agreed. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel was very quiet and the 'entertainment' venue was absolutely dead. We would recommend booking a trip with Get Your Guide, the only one that picks up in El Cotillo, but we were taken to pretty little places in land and also some fantastic beaches that we hadn't been to before. Our first impression of El Cotillo was not good but we did find a few nice areas and the beaches were lovely. At the moment the building work and road works do spoil the place but when it's all finished it will be a nice little resort. Corralejo is the nearest place and can be reached by bus from the bus station and takes 50 minutes! Would we go again? No, but we did have a lovely time and would recommend the hotel.

The hotel on the whole is nice with a good choice of breakfast and friendly staff. However, continuous weevils in the room which made me feel sick and constant construction noise outside the hotel is not relaxing. The whole area seems to have been ruined by construction - the largest site being right outside the hotel, blocking any chance of sea views. There is no nice scenery - walk a little further up the road and the place resembles the Gaza Strip. As I said, the whole area has been OBLITERATED by construction. The place looks like it has been bombed. Unless you are a surfing fanatic, there is literally nothing to do. I would not recommend this area at all. To add insult to injury, the final nail in the coffin for this place is that the hotel would not offer a courtesy room after checkout at 12 so we both had to use the one shower in the ladies toilet and I had to try and dry my hair under a hand dryer in the hotel toilets. I know for a fact there were other free rooms that could have been provided as courtesy until our pick up at 3:30 but none were offered. Poor show. Also, there are some maintenance workers and painters using scaffold in the hotel and as if the constant construction and dust is not enough outside the hotel, on several days there was drilling and banging inside the hotel while you try to relax beside the pool. Unfortunately, as I said, unless you are a surfer, you cannot escape to the beach as there are no beds and no shade so you might just burn to a crisp - and that will be after you have walked past the 3 huge construction sites and the bombed out road. No picture postcard scenery here. My advice is: Avoid. I shall be writing to Love Holidays, who I booked with to inform them that this should not be sold as a holiday destination.

Arrived for 4 days in the cotillo beach hotel. This was our third stay and again enjoyed every single moment. The bedrooms are modern and comfy. They are cleaned every day so stay fresh. The large pool is lovely to swim in and the poolsides have sunshine and shade depending on which you prefer. The staff are helpful and friendly, also the buffet breakfast is perfect to start the day. A great place to stay for the beach and harbour with many excellent restaurants.
