A smaller Tui blue hotel which is set in a lovely town location. Only just over 100 rooms and about a third of them have swim up private pools. The all inclusive experience gives you plenty of choice for drinks and food. About 45 minutes from Izmir airport, this place is perfect for a relaxing break. The rooms are kept clean and the air con is extremely effective in 40 degree heat. The mini fridge is filled on arrival with a couple of beers and some soft drinks. You can opt for it to be refilled but the prices are much more expensive than local shops outside. Perhaps this could be refilled once a week for those staying longer. Water is stocked up every day and available around the resort as well. The private pools are lovely and get regular attention. Perhaps a bar could be installed to make getting in and out slightly easier for those with mobility issues. The decking area is large and you get two sun beds and two chairs. Those rooms starting with 1 or 3 get the sun in the morning until mid afternoon and those starting with 2 and 4 don’t get the sun until later in the morning but it stays until late in the day. You can spend most of your time in your room and pool to fully chill out. It would be nice for someone to come round to offer drinks on a regular basis as otherwise you need to walk to a bar to get them. Not a big problem as the bars are only about a 5 minute walk as the grounds as quite small. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes the language barrier can lead to a misunderstanding but you can usually resolve this as there is always a team member who can speak your language. There are two pools to use. The main pool is where activities take place and the quiet pool is just that for a more relaxed time (and this one has a swim up bar). There is also a small indoor pool if needed. There are a good number of sun-beds around the pools and if you include those on the beach, there is clearly enough for all guests. The prime location ones do get snapped up by around 9 am on most days. Drinks are good but the decision to charge for some premium offerings can get confusing. Enough choice, including cocktails to stick to the all inclusive menu. The coffee shop is under used and very limited. This could be expanded to get used when the restaurant is closed. Outdoor bars are open from 10am until 6pm and the one by the main pool opens again from 8.30pm to midnight in the summer months. The main buffet restaurant offers a large choice and often has themed menus. Plenty of tables to accommodate guests. The culinarium restaurant offers one free visit per holiday and you can pay to go again if you want (quite expensive). Perhaps a second included visit for those staying more than a week could be offered in the future. The menu is quite limited but seems to be a nice dining experience. Daytime activities for those who want to get involved include exercise sessions and games (darts, boules and mini golf). No pressure to join in though. The spa offers many treatments at reasonable prices. You can grab and go a selection of items from the reception including sandwiches and muffins. Water and juice is also on hand. This area is where guides regularly visit to book trips in the local area as well. There is a small shop on site but prices are expensive. Local shops are much cheaper and there are some supermarket type stores on the main road where prices are displayed. Again, language can be an issue but Google translate etc can assist with this if needed. Although there are minor tweaks that can improve this hotel, overall it is an idyllic place for a tranquil holiday. Evening entertainment is limited and live shows mainly consist of acrobats and dancing. This can be repetitive over a two week holiday so perhaps a few different shows could be added. They do have a film night and quizzes as well.

We have not long landed home and I just wanted to post a message about what a fantastic holiday we have had. It is only our second time staying in an all-inclusive because we normally travel around a country, so we thought one week would be enough as we're used to being busy. We were definitely wrong, we wish we'd have booked for longer! The whole place is absolutely gorgeous and serene. We wanted adult only and not a loud place and we definitely made the right decision. There's plenty of options for relaxing and for activities. Thank you to Sam and the entertainment team for all the brilliant activities and entertainment. They were all so good and lots of fun - they even still ran when there was only me (belly dancing class - have a go!). The restaurant and options were good too - as someone with food intolerances, this was a big reason as to why we booked here. A few snags with labels, but these were corrected when I informed staff and I was helped with checking with chef regarding allergens. Our meal last night at The Culinarium was fantastic too. I was also regularly checked on that everything was okay. I had a Hamam treatment with Maya at the spa which was so good! The massage was fantastic - so much so I wanted to take her home with me. I must find someone who can do massages that well here! A shout out to all the staff behind the scenes too - the maids, kitchen staff etc. it wouldn't run so well without everyone behind the scenes as well as those front of house. Because the resort is so small, staff remember you and it's nice to be able to chat with them. I cannot begin to imagine how many hours you all put in, but you do so with a constant smile and feel like a holiday family. We had a last walk round last night and I actually felt really emotional to be leaving. We don't tend to visit places we've already been to, but we will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Team TUI Blue Angora Beach! 💙
