Sundia Exclusive by Liberty Fethiye

The minute we walked through the door we remembered why we had wanted to return to this amazing hotel. I was very proud that the review I compiled last year for Trip Advisor sat pinned as the hotel's favourite review for nearly a full year, so I apologise that I do risk repeating myself! This time we were celebrating my retirement and our wedding anniversary. We had requested the same side view rooftop room (3405) via email and we were delighted to get it again. It was like coming home. Rooms are generously proportioned with very comfortable beds, quality linen and plenty of storage. The small balcony suited us well with the privacy it affords. Views to the sea and to the mountains are stunning. The mini bar is restocked daily with beer and soft drinks and most days we returned to the room to towel art. We always came back to excellent standards of cleanliness. Indeed it was great to see our fantastic cleaner, Zahida Kör, again. The whole hotel is spotless thanks to the efforts of the amazing cleaning team. WiFi is very good throughout the site. On the television there is only BBC World News in English. We successfully accessed Android mirroring, but struggled to fit the Amazon Firestick. To help, Dennis in Guest Relations sent us a technical assistant who managed to sort this out for us, not that you go on holiday to watch television! The hotel is now Adults Only, just from last May. This has made it even better. During our 10 day stay we really enjoyed a saxophone session at the Pool Bar, with bubbly and canapés. The atmosphere was wonderful. A few nights later there was a Hawaiian Party outside with a band, dancers and a DJ set. The staff were clearly very excited to put this party on, it was a first. Both events were fabulous and I am sure many more will follow. We absolutely loved sunset time at the pool bar before dinner in the evening. The hotel is ideally situated on the prom, perfect for people watching. Later on we could see the evening entertainment from our preferred spot in the air conditioned lobby bar, but we never sat outside. The drinks are fantastic. The staff will make any cocktail you want and the wine is very palatable. The food includes delicious Turkish favourites and other international dishes. The food is great, every bit as good as last year, with the same high standards of service being maintained by the incredible staff. The snack bar is à la carte and also provides a night service of food, which we never used. We booked our two restaurant visits via Svetlana in Guest Relations. They are both excellent, maybe especially the Italian, due to the incredible panoramic views. Get up there early enough to enjoy the sunset from that vantage point. We spent our days mainly on the beach, where it is cooler, with some time at the pool. The restoration of the cool box of drinks on the beach would be great for guests. Inflatables are allowed in the pool. There are stretching and water aerobics classes six days a week. These were great. We did not do water polo. I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful aromatherapy massage in the spa, well worth the money. It is worth asking for the best price. I used the beauty salon for a wash and blow (twice), leg wax and eyebrow tint. Incredible value. We look forward to the new build for next season and can't wait to return next year. We already have a booking. The staff are all wonderful, many the same as last year. It was lovely to be remembered, probably due to our daily habits of going to the same places. It was great to catch up with Umit, the fantastic night manager, who checks in with everyone. Staff seemed to be moved around a lot this year. Hayrettin is a total star, highly skilled at looking after all the guests at the Pool Bar. Thank you too to Hanife, who looks just like a 1920s movie star. Inside we were treated like royalty by the charming Mehmet in the Lobby Bar, as well as Aylin and the sister team of Pelin and Nergis. It was so great to be back on the corner of the bar. We love it there. In the restaurants thanks to Esra and Cansu. Indeed a huge thank you to everyone at the amazing Sundia hotel. Our time just went too fast. We did not want to leave. You guys are a winning team. Take care til next time.

Food was amazing, rooms were very cool and clean! The pool and sea was beautiful and clean! The entertainment was very amazing!! Mete made everyday so much fun and entertaining! He kept the crowd very engaged at every point! Water polo was very fun and was a highlight everyday

As always the Sundia never disappoints, this is our 3rd year here. This year they have a no kids rule, even better. Noticed the food had gone downhill, there was no meat, just what was in stews, there used to be a chef carving some form of roast on the corner. Had to get up at stupid o clock to get a decent sunbed, but it’s all worth it. Trying somewhere different in October, so I shall see if I return next June.

We had a Great experience. The Hotel is really relaxing and chilled. The Food is very good and versatile. By the way, Mete the entertainer was fantastic – he was always in a good mood and kept everyone well entertained. We had a lot of laughs with him.

My family and I arrived 2 hours late from our flight, and we were absolutely amazed by the hotels willingness to adapt and cater to this, we were swiftly brought to our room with suitcases and wi-fi sorted. The room is fantastic with a juliet styled balcony. The bed is super comfortable and all the shampoos, conditioners and shower gels smells amazing and is replaced daily along with waters and the mini-bar. When arriving at the pool, we greeted with such good energy and friendliness by Mete, he honestly made the whole trip very entertaining, along with water polo of course! It was fantastic to watch and see the organised chaos of it all! He really is the heart of the hotel. A massive thanks to all the bar staff; Hanife for always knowing our drink order and being so kind, Pelin for being a superstar with the water. Hayrettin was my favourite of the bar staff always greeting with spuds and always will remember your name with such passionate and fabulous energy! Whatever you hear about the entertainment, if you are fun and enjoy dancing, singing and appreciate good music you will absolutely love it. Our cleaner, was always up for a chat in the morning and did beautiful towel art! There are really no complaints from my family and I and we are a very picky bunch. Thank you so much for having us, and we will be back!
