Palladium Hotel Menorca

I left a review on 15/09/24 during our stay as I wanted to address and correct a few negative comments from a previous reviewer. For my Wife and I this was a perfect 7 night get away. Everything from check in to checking out was virtually perfect for our needs. Staff, facilities, cleanliness (all areas), food and drink were all exactly as advertised. There were a few windy days where we were unable to enjoy the pool areas but obviously this is no fault of the hotel. We were lucky enough to meet a few other couples who we shared meals and evening drinks together with which made our week even more enjoyable. We are returning to this wonderful hotel again this coming September but this time we will have our Daughter with us as she wants to see what all of the fuss is about. We also have other Friends holidaying in another resort on the Island while we are together and I wanted to enquire if there is any way they can meet us at our hotel and use some of the facilities with a charge of course? I am already looking forward to visiting this great hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Palladium, glad we chose ot. The staff were great, smiley, helpful and hospitable, everyone was good at their job. The ladies at the pool bar deserve a special mention for their happy cheery attitude. It is on a bit of a hill but from other reviews I was expecting something a lot harsher. Its five mins walk to the beach, clear shallow water, it was the perfect sand for kids (and parents) to build castles and dams, saw some impressive civil engineering. There were peddaloes and paddle boards for hire and it had a pleasant family atmosphere. Back to the hotel, everything was kept very clean, the chambermaids were great and our room was well looked after. The draft lager was great, the modest cocktail selection ok. Breakfast was a fairly large choice, some things better than others but we happily found and enjoyed every morning. Other reviewers had mentioned the queues for the coffee machine in the morning, I dont think most of them noticed a second coffee machine near to the entrance. Dont normally do lunch on holiday but this time we did as there was such a great choice each day. Evening time you would be hard pushed to not find something you fancied and we generally gave a big thumbs up to all that we tried. I particularly enjoyed the mexican theme one night, fajitas, burritos, tacos and others plus all the trimmings to choose from. We both would have liked a bigger salad bar but I think that's probably being spoilt by the choice in turkish hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole time, thankyou to all of the staff, we would definitely return.
