Great location but a lot do desire to be 5* property
As a Hilton Honors member, I have come to expect a certain level of service and comfort from Hilton and unfortunately, my experience did not meet these expectations.
We were upgraded on our first night, then had another consecutive five nights reservation, however I was asked to pay for that upgrade although the app showed plenty of availability.
I declined and was moved to a king deluxe bedroom overlooking very old houses, some walls, dogs and a busy road. Basically according to Maria, General Manager here, all king deluxe rooms will have the same noise issue and same facing view, please be aware when booking as not worry the money.
One of the most significant issues we encountered was the noise disturbance from those neighbouring properties, the property underneath our balcony housed six massive dogs that are constantly barking and howling, it’s also a very busy road.
The constant barking of dogs and the loud noise from passing cars made it difficult to sleep, significantly impacting our overall enjoyment of the stay.
While we understand that the hotel's location may contribute to some noise, we believe that more could be done to mitigate these disturbances, such as providing better soundproofing or relocating guests to quieter rooms.
Additionally, we were surprised to discover that certain amenities, such as water refills and coffee pods, were not included in the room rate. This information was not clearly communicated to us upon check-in, and we believe it is important for guests to be aware of such charges beforehand.
Furthermore, the management's response to our concerns was disappointing. The insistence on moving rooms despite available options and the accusatory tone used by the general manager were particularly unpleasant. We believe that a more accommodating and understanding approach would have been more appropriate.
Despite these negative experiences, we did appreciate the excellent service provided by the F&B team, concierge and members of staff. Their professionalism and kindness were a highlight of our stay.
The beach and the pool are beautiful, pebbled beach with clear blue Agean water.
We hope that management will take Hilton Honours members concerns seriously and implement necessary changes to improve the quality of their attitude and services, otherwise members will not be booking here..
Based on our experience, we would not recommend Isla Brown to other Hilton Honors members.
This hotel was approximately £250 per night and I would rate this 2.5-3 stars and not 5!
All of the above need fixing before I'd consider staying here again, we moved to
Pefkaki Boutique Hotel Loutraki and finally managed to get a good night sleep .
