Glyfada Riviera Hotel

This hotel is not 5 star like it’s stated, it’s not even 3 star!!!! We had a very bad experience here, the only positive was the staff. We stayed in their Junior suite which should be one of the “nicest” rooms they had to offer but its was very bad!! The room was not a size of a junior suite like I’ve stayed in before. Even though we closed the balcony and the night curtains there was plenty of sound and light coming in from outside, some of the towels had stains, there was a nespresso machine but no coffee mugs, when the other guests came or left their room the door always slammed so they didn’t have soft close ( we woke up several times during the night because of that) The bathroom was right behind the bed and very inconvenient so when someone flushed you would wake up from the sound through the wall. The shower pressure was very very bad so when you showered there was barely any pressure. The pool was very dirty and it smelled very bad so we didn’t go into the swimming pool, the pool area was only open 10-6pm that’s very bad for someone who checks in at 5 pm and want to enjoy the sun in the sun after 6pm. The breakfast was below average with very few options and barely any vegetables or fruits. So there was no healthy option and the hot breakfast was some few bad quality option. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all for that price, we paid 270 euro for one night and it is not worth more than 50 euro a night. It’s far from the 4-5 star hotels we’ve stayed in and won’t come back ever again so don’t fall for the pictures or their “5 star” you will regret staying here!

We recently visited this lovely hotel and have nothing but praise for our stay. The hotel is situated within a quiet 5 mins walk of the beach and promenade. Trams run close by and are frequent and inexpensive which is most useful for getting into the city centre and further to Piraeus for ferries to the outlying islands. The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are immaculate and the staff are very friendly and supportive. They took care of my medical needs when I rang them to advise prior to our arrival. I would thoroughly recommend this excellent hotel.

The Hotel is not at all 5 stars. Room was smelling cigarettes even though we opened the doors to aerate. Smell was also inside the WC inside the ventilator. We drank coffee from the espresso machine & the cup was left dirty inside the room even after the service cleaning. No amenities whatsoever inside the room ( 5 stars ? ). No soap to wash the hands rather a filled bottle of shower gel. Breakfast was fair but rather a 3 stars level. Staff at the reception were nice but not that knowledgeable when asked about directions. Not recommended at all.

Very accommodating , great spa and great location . Very friendly and understanding Great stay overall I would recommend if you are every visiting Athens you can count on staying at the glyfada riveria hotel I’m sure it will not let you down .

It has been a great experience, since everyone people that work in the hotel delivery exellent service therefore I am very happy to be here in this hotel, on the another hand clearly in the future I am going to recommend this hotel to other people in order to they come to enjoy this exellent hotel
