Na dachu taras z barem, restauracja śniadaniowa, cztery jacuzzi i znakomity widok na miasto, Akropol, okoliczne wzgórza i morze w Pireusie. Wykwintne śniadanie serwowane przez profesjonalnych kelnerów, ze znakomitym angielskim, z inteligentnym poczuciem humoru. Dodatkowym walorem jest bliskość ulicy Ateńskiej prowadzącej do Akropolu, bazaru miejskiego, lokalnych piekarń i restauracji i tawern. Chętnie tu wrócę.

We were booked into the hotel as part of a luxury Edible Destination Epitour. Simply put: the Brown Hotel is extremally disappointing, best describing it as a dump. It’s an old broken-down hotel that’s been freshly painted with a 70's vibe added. My wife called the Brown Hotel as a failed brothel…dark rooms, dark hallway with mirrored ceiling, red velvet curtains with a dirty bathroom thrown in. It's kept dark so you will not see how bad it is. See the included photos. Not a friendly smile or greeting at the front desk. I've stayed at Motel 6’s in the US that were cleaner, nicer and more friendly. The one bright spot was the breakfast buffet was OK. There are much better hotels options close by.

No 4 star or soulful service when someone enters your room while you're out and steals your property on 2 days! If you stay at this hotel, don't leave bags of food or personal items. Even though management know who enters the room, they will say nothing can be done.

On the second day a bag of personal items disappeared, including unopened packets of food, supplements and cosmetic items. On the fifth day a piece of jewelry, unfortunately left on a sideboard, also disappeared. The staff on reception showed little sympathy, simply saying the staff on duty ‘didn’t see’ the missing items. Upon our insistence, the manageress said she would make further investigations and call back. I waited a few days, sent emails, and called again but still no response. Only after we contacted the head office, 11 days later, did the manageress respond to one of the emails, stating due to lack of evidence and ‘the time that has elapsed’ nothing further can be done. Very sour experience overall for my family.

The staff are lovely and helpful. The view from the roof bar of the acropolis is excellent. Breakfast buffet is very good. The dinners served are pricey and not very interesting menu. The Jacuzzis on the roof top are nice to use but very badly maintained. The worst thing was the rooms. We had a really dark room at the back of the hotel. There was only really low lighting in the room which they said was hotel policy. The rooms had obviously been refurbished for a younger party crowd. The level of light was not of any practice use. Though the staff did bring us an extra lamp which helped a bit. The oppressive darkness of the room was added to by the worst wallpaper I have ever seen! The safe in the room was so high up that my husband who is 6ft tall had a hard time reaching it. We additionally had a problem with constant noise from the hotel plumbing system and were told to wear earplugs so that we could sleep! I know there is fashion in hotels to have fragrance pumped into the reception area as this hotel does. But these fragrances irritate my sinuses and make me sneeze.
