Arancini Residence

Very nice, small and very clean hotel. Rooms were cosy and well equipped. Location is quiet but still near (500m) from the beach and restaurants. Ample parking available and easy to reach by car from the main road. No need to drive through narrow roads. Please note that google maps does not show the best route available, it is best to take the turn next to the sports dome. Staff is very helpful and kind. Breakfast served buffet style and with sufficient selection.

We stayed at the Arancini in September '24 and had one of the most enjoyable holidays in a long time. The welcome we received on the first night was amazing. We arrived somewhat late after a long drive from Split. We were tired and hungry but no worries, with a welcoming smile from Marina in reception herself and Eva looked after us. Although the kitchen had just closed Martina alerted her colleagues in the kitchen and some wonderful food appeared and Eva gladly served it up to us with the reassurance there was no problem , no worry, take your time and enjoy. After that, we collapsed into a large comfortable soft bed for a relaxing sleep. The next morning we were treated to a spectacular breakfast - spoiled for choice such was the wonderful selection. The following 7 days was spent by the beautiful pool taking it easy in the quiet surroundings which was just a ten minute walk from the beach. Fabulous hotel, reminded me of a contemporary 'boutique' style city hotel. Lovely design and furniture choices. All staff were very friendly and helpful, we requested extra clothes hangers and another duvet and pillow that were promptly supplied. The bed in the bedroom was large (2 singles joined together) and very comfortable. Good lighting options at the dressing table. Bathroom was spacious with great shower (water wasn't hot bit it was OK lukewarm shower but good water pressure) it's a shame the lounge part wasn't wider as when the two sofa beds are set up you can't walk around them, however as there was also access to the balcony through the bedroom sliding door it didn't create a problem. Next time we'd book the 2 bed apartment for this reason. Kitchen small and tidy. A little welcome basket would have been a nice touch instead of the mini bar which I thought was a bit pricey. Just a 5 min drive to Lidl or a 10 min walk to shops for supplies. If you walk into the main area you'll find delicious bakeries and restaurants open till midnight. The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast, it's simply amazing! Everything is thought of here, it's all very fresh and constantly topped up, absolutely delicious! Tables are cleaned immediately, the staff all work so efficiently and always with a smile. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day with fresh towels provided. Pool was lovely, all one depth and comfortable loungers always available. It's a 15-20min walk to the beach and lots of space in the car park.

Lovely small hotel, modern, friendly staff, clean, small pool not too busy, definitely enough sun loungers, good breakfast, quiet area but only a short walk from Vodice town centre and Plava beach and the bus station. I would take your own mug as the cups in the room aren’t big enough for a cup of tea in our opinion! You can’t take your own drinks and food to the pool, which we understood but they didn’t sell any food until 2pm and from what we could see it was only a 3 item menu! We never chose to eat at the restaurant as we preferred to go into town. Snacks and drinks in the room are provided but you get charged for them, nice touch though! Was perfect for an adult holiday, a few kids around but I wouldn’t say it was the most child friendly hotel! Staff friendly, we did report a problem with our sink plug but had to report it a second time as nobody came, it was quickly resolved after that

From the moment I stepped in the door I felt welcome and appreciated. Receptionist Katharina assisted me with all my wishes in a friendly and efficient manner. In the dining room, Eva and a young man ( regrettably I don’t know his name) provided me with the very best service. Food is fresh and delicious, the rooms have kitchenettes and are very clean. Fresh sprigs of rosemary adorn the tables. Thank you for this lovely experience!
