Hotel LIVVO Costa Taurito

NOT 4 stars! Barely reaching 2 star in all honestly maybe 20 years ago it was 3-4 stars but rusty bath tubs and dirty shower curtains, very basic rooms. The food is way below par with very little options and what is available is poorly cooked. The water park is not in the hotel and the all inclusive is only valid inside the hotel with 1 pool and a single bar at the other end of the hotel until 6.30pm. Can’t even take drinks into the water park so have to purchase drinks in there meaning “all inclusive” is a massive stretch. There’s nothing else around. Gran Canaria is a Beautiful island with beautiful people, food and beaches and this area is a poor reflection of what the island has to offer. Totally incapsulated within mountains it’s suffocating. The beach is not one to swim in its white water tides and dangerous. The hotel doesn’t offer free bus rides to other beaches or elsewhere. Go Maspolomas which is 20 mins away and u will be in brand new hotels and roads with amazing service and many amenities with easy access to other parts of the island. And as a Spanish speaker.. the staff knows and agrees with my review (the staff won’t even eat the food).

El personal del hotel muy amigables habitaciones limpias pero el todo incluido era muy pobre parecio del comedor del pueblo donde va la gente que no tiene para comer , el desayuno muy pobre todos los días lo mismo, el piano bar era de lo ultimo. Lo único bueno fue el personal, para utilizar la piscina adentro hay que reservar y pagar extra y no esta en el hotel es en otra parte 😵‍💫😵‍💫… mejor no digo más porque la lista es larga.

Very uninviting, very basic rooms , no spare pillows or kettles in the room. Staff struggled to communicate with good manners. Food ?? Hmmm … not one good thing about the restaurant … feels like canteen actually and food absolutely basic. AI activities are very limited as indoor pool or water parks open only 10-6.. after 6 you are forced to entertain kids outside in the arcade area which of course is very costly, felt like structured camp rather then 4* holiday for 3k 🙄 wifi also is nearly non existent in the room . Definitely do not recommend for such price.
