Personel był świetny i pomocny, a śniadanie było niesamowite! Zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel! Pokoje były ładne i miały wszystko, co potrzebne i idealne na noc. Różnorodność jedzenia w bufecie śniadaniowym była świetna. Dania gorące i zimne. Mnóstwo owoców. Pracownicy recepcji byli bardzo kompetentni i nic nie było problemem. I stayed four wonderful nights with the Gambacurta family´s care. The entire staff is greeting you when passing by, welcoming you for breakfast and dinner and often asks of your day plans. The kitchen serves a huge and varied breakfast buffet, with fresh fruits, daily baked bread and superb coffe of all varieties. The 4 course dinner is composed on local recepies with local produce, meaning you eat yourself into the Tuscan way of life. The rooms are genrous, but a bit outdated, but are planned to be renovated starting next winter. The hotel is great located in Chianciano, parks, the old town, the sports facilities and the termes are in walking distance. The management cares for activities and are very helpful suggesting hiking and cycling tours in the nearby region that offers Chianti Wineries, historic villages and the lovely Tuscany landscape. Just ask for suggestions at the Desk. Chianciano Terme can be reached by train+bus, so you are not car dependant to visit also Firenze, Siena or the Umbrian sights of Assissi or Perugia. I hope to re-visit this lovely hotel and region soon again.

The hotel was simple and the flair was excellent. Every evening, the dinner was an festival of the senses & the cake buffet was very good. The whole staff and the manager was very friendly and present. Every order and also every complaint was well received.

Room was very basic twin 2ft 6inch beds very hard. No window, door to small balcony could not be seen from beds. Wardrobe two storey with pole to retrieve clothes. Air con/heating didn't work. No mini bar or fridges in most rooms. Some rooms no safe. Room needed decorating. Bathroom refurbished but already cracks in wall tiling. Shower floor not retiled, cracks in floor tiles and covered in tatty plastic mat. Few rooms match picture on web site. Breakfast choices poor juice only grapefruit. Thin cheese slices in plastic wrapper not good. Dinner staff tried to rush our party to eat quickly and leave restaurant before 9pm. Food not great veal needed a steak knife to cut. Staff turned lights off and on before 9pm. No welcome drink on arrival in spite of promised in tour operators information. Round of drinks in bar charged at 45 Euros. When queried after much argument reduced to 25 Euros. No apology and bar staff just laughed.

What a lovely stay! The Miralaghi Hotel in Chianciano Terme is a good standard hotel run by a great Italian family. They don't speak much English but they are so welcoming. The restaurant was lovely and great for groups - serving some really lovely Italian food. We found the prices for drinks really reasonable in the bar of the hotel but as its near the Old Town, we could walk there for drinks too. We thought the rooms were very Italian ie on the basic side, but the beds were comfortable. I would definately recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Tuscany as you can explore the Tuscan & Umbrian scenery whilst being based in this hotel which gave value for money. We would go again!
