Racist staff, especially the redheaded lady and manager. Lack of basic room equipment. The toilet flushes for three minutes. The paint is peeling off the ceiling. Apart from that it is clean, the food is ok although the portions are small, the wine for dinner is warm. Apart from the reception and the manager, the service is nice and helpful.

Firstly rooms are very outdated and in dire need of a spruce up. Certain facilities in the room were no longer in use. The beds were not the most comfortable. Breakfast is very basic but did the job. Food on average each evening was okay with different dishes served and tasted fine. A particular mention to Gloria who was very welcoming each day in the dining room she was really kind. Overall, this is a traditional hotel in a great location just adjacent to the beach with some bars and restaurants close by. However, if you are looking for 5* luxury this is not the place to go.. All in all a decent hotel if you want location.

The one star is for the nice view from the balcony overlooking the beach! The location is just perfect . Room is outdated and unwelcoming. The food - an absolute joke - greasy ‘Minestrone’ without the pasta and made of frozen vegetables and greasy water. The main dish - unrecognisable fried breaded something . Terrible, just terrible! And it’s a big shame given the variety of food choices that Sicilian cuisine offers. A simple pasta with fresh homemade sauce would have made it a nice meal. Balconies are disintegrating and totally unsafe. I feel bad for the guests whose rooms have neither balcony, nor view. €140 per night and €15 for a disgusting dinner?! You got to be kidding me!

HARD BEDS , cramped and outdated rooms, and quite frankly dangerous balconies. I attended with a small school trip from the UK , this trip was very expensive and was the best trip possible ,the experiences were amazing , except for the accommodation. You will find doors that don't lock properly, showers with no holder or curtain - and a barely functional drain! The food here was absolutely DISGUSTING they should at least have a buffet or some options , but instead you just get meaty greasy oily slop presented to you like it is dirt from the road. The staff were friendly and were trying their best, my advice get a new standard for best. It is also noted if you are being dropped off by coach you will have to walk to the hotel from the main road. The only benefit was location , by the seafront and for touring around the island. The town was pretty though despite the hotel bringing it down.

We have just returned after a 3 night stay. We were a group of 3 adults and 15 students. The location is fantastic, straight out on to the beach. Beautiful sea views from our balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Looking at the reviews we were a little worried about the food, however we had no reason to worry. Freshly cooked, 3 course meals were served daily. The food was traditional to the area so our students did struggle to adapt, but us adults found it all delicious! A special mention to Gloria and Renardo for making meal times a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Breakfast was a basic continental buffet, but good quality. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. If you are a school group then this hotel is perfect for you. I would stay here with my family, but I would be prepared for the fact that school groups could be there.
