Positives: Excellent grounds and wonderful pools. Fantastic breakfast and good food ( if a little pricey ) drink prices were good though. Pizza's were sensational! Stayed in 'superior' room which was clean with nice decor. Negative: Hotel really is in the middle of nowhere. Room (superior) had virtually no natural light. A couple of tall narrow windows is all there is. The larger window is the only one that opens, but by only a few inches so I couldn't actually push the shutter back that was closed behind it to allow the sun in!!! My TV stopped working after a couple of days. Spoke to reception who said they would sort it the following day. When I came back the following evening and turned it on, the screen was now physically cracked ! There was no note to say they had tried but failed and that someone had actually now permanently damaged it! I could have easily left and then been charged for a replacement ! The manager barely apologised and just stared at me with a ' what would you like to do about it expression'. offered nothing.. On check-out I noticed that on one night I had been charged for 2 meals. I obviously only signed one receipt but the receptionist started asking me for a break down of what I had eaten a couple of night previous and queried if I would been paying for another couple ! they reluctantly removed this from my bill. Why does the hotel ask you sign for everything if they will add something to your bill anyway ??? What with the over charging, TV issues and no apology or compensation I left the hotel disappointed.

We went here for our honeymoon and it’s an amazing resort. Very kind staff, and amazing activities. We really enjoyed the pizza workshop with Claudia and Carmelo!

We had a wonderful stay at Mangia’s Brucoli Resort. The setting is absolutely beautiful — stunning grounds, views of the sea, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it so easy to unwind. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beds that made it hard to get up in the morning, fluffy pillows, and soft towels that felt like a treat after a shower. But the real stars of this resort are the staff. We travel often and have stayed in many lovely places, but the warmth and genuine hospitality we experienced here was on another level. We mostly interacted with the restaurant and bar staff, and every single person we met was kind, friendly, and attentive — not just to us, but especially to our baby son. He was absolutely doted on every day, and we were so touched by how much love and attention he received. There were so many members of the restaurant and bar team who came over every day just to say hello to him, to make him smile, or offer a kind word. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch all their names — but we noticed and appreciated every single one of them. It really meant a lot to us as a family. The food at the buffet, where we mostly ate, was delicious — varied, fresh, and beautifully presented. Breakfast in particular was a real treat. Neither my husband nor I usually eat breakfast, but we made an exception every single day — it was too good to miss. Usually, on holiday, you might come across one or two people who really go the extra mile — here, it was the whole team. We feel like we could write a long list of names to thank them all properly, but we must mention Simona, who truly went above and beyond. When we were struggling to find salt-free food for our baby, she cooked something for him at home and brought it in. That kind of care is rare and unforgettable. Cristiane was also so kind and attentive every morning at breakfast — always greeting us with a warm smile and making sure we had everything we needed. She made the start of each day feel extra special. We also want to mention the lovely lady at the Europcar shop on site. She was incredibly helpful when we hired a car — and in a wonderful coincidence, we happened to be in Noto at the exact same time as her a day later. She spotted us, came over to say hello, and even gave us helpful directions to get into the centre. It was her day off and she didn’t have to stop, but she did — another example of how warm and thoughtful the people here are. It’s also clear that there’s a hardworking team behind the scenes keeping everything running smoothly. The whole resort is extremely well kept and spotless — a credit to those staff members who often go unseen but whose work makes all the difference. There were a couple of small hiccups during our stay — the main buffet restaurant was closed for a couple of nights due to a private event, and unfortunately many guests, including us, hadn’t realised until we turned up for dinner. By the time we had waited for a table at one of the à la carte restaurants, it meant we were eating about 3 hours later than intended, which was tricky with a hungry 9-month-old to settle and feed. The event also meant the bar and pool areas were much busier than usual. That said, we appreciated that the pool attendant took care to remove towels from loungers that were being ‘reserved’ but not used, which helped a lot. We also had a small issue with ants in the room, but tackled them with some boiling water, which seemed to work. However, these things didn’t overshadow what was a special stay. Mangia’s Brucoli Resort is a beautiful place — peaceful, well-maintained, and made unforgettable by the people who work there. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!) and warm memories.
