We stayed here for 3 days as part of a bus tour. The place is very well located. It is right on the beach, centrally located to visit area attractions and there are good restaurants within walking distance as well as a small grocery store almost across the street. The rooms are very nice, some with a large balcony. The view is good from any room, either the water side or looking up at Mount Etna. We were lucky enough to witness Etna erupt on a clear night from our balcony.

Hotel needs some tlc on the exterior and pool area. Room was nice with lovely big walk in shower. Free WiFi, indoor safe and air conditioning. Not enough storage for clothes and we had 4 hangers for 3 ladies! I had taken some and asked the cleaner for more. There are some nice restaurants across the road which were reasonably priced. Hotel is handy for the bus station to Taormina and just €1.50 each way. Breakfast was OK not lots of choice but adequate although the fruit juice was too sweet! Some of the reception staff were very rude! Especially the man who looked like Gru! My daughter and I were going to check out the spa and him and another man shouted at us saying no! No explanation so I asked the young man on reception who was very nice and he said it was closed for refurbishment. I said maybe they should have a sign up. The young girl on the bar at night was lovely and looked after us even remembering our order. OK for a 3 night break but wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel was booked for us by our travel company and then I read the reviews. We started to get a bit concerned by the negative reviews but on our arrival we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was lovely, bright and airy, obviously some of the external could do with some maintenance but the inside was gorgeous. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was superb with a lovely walk in shower. Also tea and coffee facilities but fresh milk had to be obtained from the bar. The dining room was large and very bright but did get a bit noisy when full. I thought the breakfast had an adequate selection and our evening meal was plentiful with the staff very obliging if you had a food allergy. You must bear in mind that we are staying in a hotel in a foreign country so accept that things are not going to be the same as at home and why should the staff be expected to speak our language when we cant be bothered to lean theirs. The area is a bit remote but has a good selection of restaurants plus a short walk takes you to the port where there is more to choose from. My wife used the pool on a couple of occasions plus we were right on the beach for a dip in the sea or a walk.

Lots of things to like: close to several restaurants, pool and beach access, rain shower head, make up mirror, lots of plugs and very nice bathroom. But only one small trash can for the room and there was a terrible sewage smell outside that sometimes drifted into the bathroom. We had to open the balcony door and air out the room several times. Other than that, they would have had a better rating—not everyone in our group had that problem.

In short - for every recommendation from hotel to Sicily. Hotel location 5 beaches with deckchairs and towels like a blanket 5-clean, everyone at your service, food according to taste 5 and in terms of portion size 4 but 4 if we compare it with the treatment. The location of the hotel, which is on its own beach, is excellent - a market, bus station, pizzerias, restaurants are 5 minutes away. 10 minutes from the center of with restaurants and souvenir shops. It takes 20 minutes by bus to Taormina, and the buses go for 15 minutes and have air conditioning. The wifi is a bit noisy, but nothing serious. 4 Clean, comfortable, view from our terrace directly on Etna, which was erupting for 2 days - priceless 5* The festive dinner is a special event because the level is .
