Hotel Milton

Not as we thought. Very quirky, but to the point of being tasteless. A real eclectic mish mash of objects from various trips that the owners had taken around the world. Although the rooms had some lovely unusual things like the sink, other things were a little cheap looking and not to th standard I had thoght they would be. It was however, extremely clean and the service from the young staff was excellent. The food was plentiful, but we found the refreshments quite expensive, particularly as you were expected to build a tab up and pay at the end of theholiday. The position of the hotel is excellent and is in easy reach of the beach and shops. We were a little put out that we were asked to visit reception before our departure as we had a "gift" waiting. The gift was a photograph of the owners and a two handmade biscuits - a nice touch but this was given to us at the same time as being asked to leave a positive review of the hotel - I did not appreciate this. The pool was nicebut laacked atmosphere and was really for the quieter person.

We arrived 2nd September and spent a lovely week at the Milton Boutique Hotel. Such an original hotel, food great. Davide and his staff were brilliant. They make everyone feel so welcome. Thank you for a lovely time. We certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lido Di Jesolo

What a charming hotel run by a really lovely family. The attention to detail is amazing. The staff really make you feel special and extremely welcome from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. The room was lovely, bed was really comfy, fab smart TV on the wall and room cleaned every day. Pool area is lovely, really comfy sunbeds and very tranquil. Jacuzzi is a lovely addition. The food was incredible! Breakfast really nice. Lots of choice and special mention for the freshly cooked eggs (thanks Nikolas) and the delicious cakes made by Fabiana. Evening meal was amazing, soups were great as were all the mains, the beef, pastas, chicken, sea bass, cod, roast potatoes, salmon, all superb. And really good deserts too! We loved the tour that Davide did about the art and plants and the history of his family and the hotel! We used the hotel bikes which were great! The beach is really lovely. Miles of golden sand and a nice touch having a bag with the beach towels for you in the room. We really liked the resort and the proximity to Venice. We also visited Burano and Murano which we enjoyed. The terrace is a lovely place to have drinks, again great service! For me the only downside was the gym. We would have liked better equipment and some weights. But this really didn't stop us loving the hotel. Such a very special hotel with warm, friendly, professional staff that go above and beyond! We felt very relaxed and happy! We hope to return!
