Regent Phu Quoc In summary, this is the best resort in Asia! It is truly sublime in so many ways—a true pool paradise with grounds and spaces meticulously curated and top-level service throughout. The value is also very reasonable considering the condition and overall quality. Everywhere you look, the materials and finishes are in near-perfect condition, which is impressive in a place where the climate can be so harsh. We stayed in the Terrace Pool Villa, which was simply fantastic—well beyond expectations! The pools were all incredible: spacious, crystal-clear, beautifully lined with top-quality stone, and kept at perfect temperatures. Just perfection. And there’s something for everyone: two rooftop pools averaging 50m in length (Olympic-sized), an even larger main pool, and shaded family and kids’ pools. Amazing! As the overall level and expectations were very high, I’ll share a few small details that I believe could be improved—minor things really, but worth mentioning: • Language: Staff would benefit from ongoing English practice, particularly in the restaurants. Alternatively, a tablet with food photos and descriptions could be helpful during lunch and dinner, as some food explanations were difficult or even impossible to understand. • Resort scent: If there’s one thing I didn’t enjoy, it was the scent used in the common areas. It felt too artificial and generic. A more natural or fresh/citrusy fragrance would be far more pleasant and fitting. I would definitely consider changing it. • Dark stone flooring in the villas: This material is used throughout the resort, but indoors it may pose challenges over time. In our villa, some stone surfaces—especially in the bathroom—had stains that initially gave the impression of being dirty. Even after staff and we ourselves tried cleaning, they remained, likely due to the porous nature of the stone. For example, a single drop of sunscreen appeared to stain it permanently. This may worsen with time and create a poor first impression. Perhaps a protective coating could help? • Small villa detail: Since there are two bathrooms, I believe the guest bathroom at the entrance should have liquid soap for quick hand washing, while bar soap and lotion can remain in the main bathroom. • Half board: It would be a nice touch if half board included access to the Japanese restaurant at least once every third or fourth night. • Fu Bar and evening entertainment: This is one of the best spots in the resort for sunset views, and it deserves to be more lively! Live music or a more upbeat atmosphere could work well here. The resort as a whole leans toward a quiet, family-friendly vibe, which is great, but it could benefit from a more balanced offering. After dinner, the resort felt almost empty. Some nighttime activities or social spaces would help enhance the experience even further. With that, I believe this resort could reach total perfection. That said, everything else was absolutely top-notch. A huge thank you to the kind and hardworking staff. I’d especially like to highlight the friendliness and professionalism of Kevin, Nam, Ren, Mia, and Huy.

Excellent hotel, great food and perfect service. We have stayed at many top hotels, this is my favourite. Pool areas are excellent a lot of space, you'll never come there and not have a sunbed. Beach are so pretty. Restaurants are great with many choices. Go there I promise you'll not regret it.
