This is our second day and must say what a fantastic hotel. The food is amazing, so much choice and so many places to eat. All the staff are wonderful and very helpful. Standout so far are Diyar and ömer who work tirelessly in this heat to keep us watered nothing is too much trouble for them. Will write another review later on

A Memorable Stay at XO Cape Arnna – With a Few Fixable Flaws Rating: 4/5 My partner and I stayed at XO Cape Arnna in Fethiye, Turkey, from June 19–26 to celebrate our one-year anniversary, annual holiday, and a very special proposal — and overall, it was a truly memorable experience. The hotel is visually stunning. When we first entered the courtyard, it felt like a mini village — classy, modern, and sophisticated. We stayed in a double room, which was beautifully designed, especially the bathroom. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and despite the summer heat, we slept very well thanks to the strong air conditioning. Housekeeping kept the room spotless throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the adult-only sections of the resort. While our room didn’t have the best view (it faced the neighbouring hotel), the tranquil adult-only areas made up for it. The adult-only restaurant is a great concept and provides a peaceful dining experience. That said, the food was better in the main restaurant — but all meals were enjoyable. The snack bar and 24/7 pub-style bar served great food during the day, and there was entertainment every night for both kids and adults, keeping the atmosphere both relaxed and lively. Now to the absolute highlight of our stay: Buse Boz, the Guest Relations Supervisor. I first connected with Buse in April to plan a surprise proposal, and she was phenomenal from start to finish. Her communication, professionalism, and thoughtfulness were unmatched. She handled everything with such care — from organising the proposal to helping us with a late checkout (even when we were told the hotel was fully booked). She genuinely went out of her way for us and played a key role in making our proposal unforgettable. Huge thanks to her! A shoutout also goes to Komang, a masseuse at Ocean Spa, who delivered one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I had both a Sports and a Deep Tissue massage, and she pinpointed all the areas of tension perfectly. A kind and highly skilled professional. However, there were a few issues that could be improved. Upon check-in, we faced several administrative hiccups. It took over 40 minutes, and the registration form bizarrely had another woman’s name (and her personal details) next to mine, which understandably confused my partner. We were also placed in the wrong room — in the main resort instead of the adult-only section — and had to go back to reception and show proof of our booking. Even after the room change, the system showed someone else’s name until Day 3. Another area of frustration was the à la carte restaurant reservations. When we booked the holiday, we were told we’d get three à la carte meals for free, but upon arrival, we were told everything was fully booked until Monday (we arrived Thursday). Ironically, when we went past the restaurants, they were often half empty. Better communication and flexibility — even if it meant paying — would’ve improved this part of the experience. Lastly, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks could definitely be improved. In the Turkish heat, refreshing drinks really elevate the poolside experience, and unfortunately, the quality here didn’t match the rest of the hotel’s offerings. Final thoughts: Despite the check-in issues and restaurant frustrations, we had a wonderful stay and would return. The facilities, adult-only concept, relaxing spa, and Buse’s exceptional service truly elevated our experience. With better organisation and improvements in food & beverage quality, XO Cape Arnna has all the potential to be a flawless 5-star resort.
