Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort

The hotel was lovely, The Italian Restaurant Carosella was lovely, the food was amazing and the service was top notch,we got served by Habib and Shuhag and they were such lovely people and make the experience so inviting and fun! The food was delicious aswell and the pizza are proper homemade out of a pizza oven

Nice place but completely spoilt by the queues for drinks, food etc. In fact I'm in one now while writing this review It's simply a case of not enough staff and appears to be ploy to limit/slow down what people can drink. Sadly avoid if you're thinking of booking here.

Great family holiday in a fantastic complex. The check in was seamless, no queue and golf buggy straight to the room. Arrived late, coffee stop was open from 23.00 serving soup, bread, rolls, fruit etc. Complex and room excellent, extremely clean. Yes, some ants around however I saw this everywhere not just in the complex. Bring mosquito repellent. Al a carte restaurants good, easy enough to book. Buffet good, food a little cold at times. Queues for drinks at both bars at times, more staff at both bars at busy times would help. Kids played in the pool all week, heaters in the pools but still quite cold. Sports court great, the kids played there a lot and made lots of friends. Not a great deal of entertainment at night, wasn’t an issue for us. Beach is amazing, the scenery stunning, not far from the hotel. Walked in to Alvor numerous times and got the hotel train back, Alvor is lovely. Staff were fantastic, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A great holiday had by all!
