The Patio Suite Hotel

The staff at this hotel are exceptional, they are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This makes the service you will receive first class. The hotel itself is very clean and gives the feeling of being in a spacious environment. Plenty of places to sit & relax with a lovely seating area by the bar and South pool. The restaurant has a good selection of food although you might find some dishes repeated over the course of your stay, understandable really. If you happen to pick a busy time, then best to wait for dishes to be replenished to get the hot stuff. Try the Sangria with your meal, its lovely. It is a ‘wait to be seated’ service so no free for all when the doors open and they tend to put similar sized groups together, so as a couple was nice. The bar has a good selection of drinks [branded spirits] and an extensive cocktail list, some cocktails are not included in the ‘all inclusive’ pricing but the ones that are hit the spot. Must try ‘The Patio’ cocktail, especially if relaxing by the pool. We only used the south pool as the North pool didn’t have any facilities open – early season. The shade from the hotel starts to come over from about 3pm so pick your sun bed wisely for extended sun time. We had a suite room which has amazing space. A nice relaxing area which had a large flat screen TV which lead onto the balcony. A kitchen which had a fridge, hob, microwave and cutlery etc. Not really required if all inclusive but useful just the same for a cuppa. Large bathroom which only issue was a pretty useless shower screen. You had to make sure the shower head was pointing down otherwise water would escape over the bathroom floor. All the floors are tiled so not major but not nice having a soggy floor mat. Bedroom was about the size of some rooms we have stayed in. Kingsize bed with plenty of wardrobe space and smaller TV if you need it. Plenty of sockets and even a UK style socket by the side of bed. Maybe just our room? The rooms are cleaned daily and are spotless. Some wear and tear in places, but nothing to distract your stay. The hotel is situated about 15min walk from the beach and it is a steep walk down to beach. The hotel does offer a shuttle service to the beach if you need it. Local small supermarket, couple of restaurants and ‘tat’ shops if you need them and that’s about it. If you fancy a stroll locally we found it flat and safe. We had a relaxing stay and would definitely go back one day

Would recommend a stay at the hotel. The staff were fantastic and thoroughly attentive. Slightly away from Albufeira and Vilamoura but only about €8 for taxi to either. Food was reasonable with plenty of variety (all-inclusive). Included drinks were good quality. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel and staff were brilliant throughout our 5 days in Portugal. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for what we needed, the pools areas were relaxing. We had a 2 bed apartment which gave us a very comfortable living space including a very spacious balcony. Thanks to Patio for a great experience and will definitely plan to return.
