This is a wonderful family hotel. It is very well run, the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. My two daughters and I took two children under five, there was always a warm welcome wherever they went in the hotel. The beaches are within walking distance and are absolutely wonderful

We did not go all inclusive so can only comment on the self catering aspect. Room. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and well equipped. We had a two bedroom apartment with en suite and a living room. There was also two balconies. The room was very nice, comfy and huge! The cleaner came daily and made the beds, refreshed the towels, cleaned and made the room smell lovely. Every day coming back to a clean tidy space was wonderful. It did not matter what time you left the room it still got done. Probably one of the best rooms I have stayed in. Staff. All very friendly and helpful. Great English speakers. We had two issues whilst we were there. The kettle did not work so we reported it as we left the hotel for dinner. When we came back a brand new kettle was sat waiting in the kitchen. Our shower door did not function correctly so we reported that as we left about 11am and when we came home at 18:00 it was repaired with no mess. I do not mind small faults as long as they were dealt with with, and they were. The staff do seem to be always "on it". Pool. Two small/medium pools. They are nice and clean. There is some sun bed hogging but not that much and you can usually find a bed. If not there is nice grass around the sides to sit under a tree. Plenty of parasols. I like that they provide towels If you want to do lengths I would advise going early or late as there are a lot of kids having fun. As two of them were mine I don't have issue with this but I can imagine some would. Bars and entertainment. There are some nice places to sit and have a drink inside and out. Sport is on most of the TVs and there is entertainment, but don't expect a grand show. Its very low key and chilled. Drinks are good, reasonably priced though there might be a queue if everyone is having cocktails. Staff are constantly checking everything is neat and tidy. Decor. Very stylish. You can tell it has reticently been done up. There was some work being done on the outside due to weather damage but the hotel sent every room a letter explaining this and assured it was kept to certain hours so as not to disturb. We were right above it and it was ok. I would rather not have it but it did not really disturb. It seemed to be nearly completed. On that, some complain about traffic. they must be from very quiet villages because it really was not noisy. What to do? There are loads of restaurants down the road and all seemed nice. Olimpico is very relaxed and friendly. There are traditional restaurants, burger, italian, snack bars etc. We never had a bad meal. This is why we did self catering and I am really glad I did. I think Ive put on at least half a stone. The super market at the bottom of the street is great. Speak great English and have a good range including a bakery and butchers. Tip. The blue milk is semi and the green full fat. Uber... use them. dirt cheap and they just work. Less than £8 to Albufeira and really convenient. If you get a good driver they will tell you lots of good tips. We used Uber constantly. Parque Adventure is great for the kids to go climbing and zip wiring (like Go Ape). The beeches are wonderful. Overall. A lovely hotel if you want a chilled and refined space. It's not for big rowdy party nights at all. We did not see any drunken groups or problems. Do pack your own teabags if you need a brew and thankfully the cups were a respectable size, not the rubbish tiny ones you often get in hotels. As I say, if you want big loud party complex then this is not your place. If you want a calm family hotel in a calm area then this is great. It is far removed from The Strip and it feels really safe walking around the local area.

This hotel is lovely. Its very impressive from the moment you walk in , well decorated, clean, friendly ambience. The guy on the reception desk was very polite and helpful. The rooms are beautifully clean, maybe a little dated but everything you need and has all the necessities, comfy bed, clean linen great shower etc. We booked for bed and breakfast, which was amazing , so much choice. If you didn't find something you liked in here, you must be very hard to please 🙂 We also had dinner at the hotel on a couple of occasions and it was lovely, buffet style again but plenty of choice, the great thing about the restaurant is it's a very relaxed atmosphere, I have eaten in hotels where meal times can feel like you're in a school canteen but not here its very chilled. There are 2 pool areas that were both very quiet as the weather was not great when we went . The hotel offers a shuttle service in to the local town and to the nearest beach which we did a couple of times , that was really handy as I would say the only downside is you're not particularly close to a town if you want to walk , it's probably a good 30 minute stroll to the nearest one. Although the beach in the other direction is probably 15 minutes and well worth a visit , it's stunning. Overall, we had a great stay and can't fault the hotel, we were early in the season and the weather, unfortunately, was awful , but the hotel was still busy . We probably wouldn't return just because this area of portugal wasn't for us.

Absolutely superb from start to finish!! From the cleanliness of the spacious apartment rooms, to the incredible customer service where NOTHING is a problem! The apartments have all mod cons and amenities. The beds are very comfortable and the fresh linen and brand new towels are an added luxury. They are cleaned daily to perfection - the arrival back to your room after a hot sunny day to find this is incredibly welcoming. The food? Wow, wow wow! A variety of well prepared and incredibly tasty options, catering for all pallets! Served by the best staff , who are there and serve your every whim. Entertainment staff golden, fun and obviously have been handpicked for this role. Generally ALL staff are professional……always in uniform and managers ALWAYS present. A must to visit if you are visiting Portugal. Thank you ‘Patio’ keep shining! We really needed this holiday as a family and you ensured it was the best of the best!!!

Just come back from 5 days all inclusive at the Patio. What an amazing trip! We arrived at 11am and went to the beach as check in starts at 4pm. At noon we got a WhatsApp that our room was ready. Brilliant! The "room" is a big one bedroom flat which was huge. The food was beyond yummy. My friend has Coeliac and got gluten free bread rolls, muffins, toast and Toblerone cake. That was so unexpected as most places don't cater properly for gluten free. Normally it's crisps and fries etc. We had one picnic lunch which was huge and yummy as well. The cocktails are very nice, especially 'The Patio'. Easy walk to the beach, about 15min. Sun loungers on the beach are expensive. So we did half day on the beach and then sun loungers by the pool. Hope to visit again!
