Pestana Blue Alvor Beach - All Inclusive Hotel

Gorgeous modern hotel, we were offered a welcome drink of fizz while we checked in which was a lovely touch. I was traveling with my husband and young son who is 3 and i upgraded to a superior double sea view and our room was gorgeous. Food was good we only had one day where the buffet at night wasn’t loads for me but i don’t eat beans and pulses but we always found something and was happy so was my little boy, we got to eat in each a la carte restaurants during our stay and these were lovely. Location was great short 5 minute walk from the beach which was gorgeous. Alvor centre was a 20 minute flat pram friendly walk the town its self had a couple of small hills but there was a little train if you struggle with hills. The entertainment was also good in hotel. We have all had the best holiday and wish we could of stayed longer. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday x

We were a family of four, and both adults and children had a great time. Thanks to all the entertainment team, but we can't fail to mention Theresa's name - we loved the aqua pong and darts. The little ones enjoyed the kids' activities As for the hotel, fantastic views, good facilities, perhaps with a few things to modernise. But I'd definitely go back and who knows, maybe we'll come again in August.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel and we were so disappointed. Unfortunately l the room was the only good thing. It has recently been refurbished and was lovely and bright and the view was beautiful. The food however really wasn't good, so much so we had to eat out for most of our holiday. There was lots of fish and unfortunately we do not eat fish. You may be ok if you eat fish however we did speak to other guests who said the fish wasn’t good. We ate chicken one night (as there wasn’t much other options besides vegetarian dishes) which was dry and had no taste to it. The following day my mother was poorly :( so we decided not to eat there again. The breakfast was ok, not the standard I would expect from a supposed 5 star hotel. The towels in the room were thin and rough. We asked for a hair dryer one night and we given the smallest travel hair dryer :(. In the bubbles bar in the evening there was one bar tender and you had to wait over half an hour for a drink. We witnessed a few arguments between guests over who was next to be served. Overall not a great experience. We won’t go back :(

We had a wonderful holiday here at the beginning of May. The hotel was clean & modern, the food was varied & tasty and the staff were great. A special mention goes to Marta, Bruna & the kids club team who made our daughter’s holiday so special. They really are an asset to this business. We visited during term time so the hotel was not at full capacity which meant we did not have any problems with the restaurants being too busy or getting a sun lounger. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

The hotel is good and i came here for my internship and its going well here we have good workers and then with them its going good bonding as well its a good hotel i want to tell somebody one time everyone has to come here and I'm sure everyone will get good experience.
