Adina Apartment Hotel Berlin Checkpoint Charlie

An excellent apart-hotel in a great location. Room was spacious and well-equipped with a small but perfectly formed kitchenette. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent Italian restaurant across the main road, supermarket a couple of mins walk away, as was bus stop. The pool and sauna were clean and pleasant. There is also a gym. 15 min walk or 5 mins bus to checkpoint Charlie and Mall of Berlin. Alexanderplatz was a 25 min walk or 5 mins on the bus. Bus 200 is closest and goes every 12 mins. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A central location. Great when you want a bit more space than an average hotel room. Twin beds in the bedroom are put together with single quilts. In the living space, the sofa is a double bed. Both the living space and the bedroom have TVs. The only channels in English are BBC and CNN news. The living space also has a table with 4 chairs, a sink, a small kitchen, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a fridge. All well equipped. The square box in the cupboard contains cloths, washing up liquid, etc. This is not noted, and it took us a day before we found it. The bathroom has a bath and shower. Toilet, a sink, a hairdryer, a washing machine, and a tumble drier. The room also has a small balcony. The room was very warm. The pool is ok and towels are provided so no need to pack your own. Ma y people use the sauna naked as this is their culture so beware if taking kids. We found this to be a good location easy walkable distance to many of the sites. Bar opening was intermittent so beware. Breakfast was €23 per person per night, we never has this as Lidl is across the road. 2l of water, 3 pastries, strawberries and 3 bananas was €3.29 which was perfect to start the day. An Uber from the Airport was €45-€49 each way.

Spent 4 nights here absolutely loved it. Not far to Checkpoint Charlie easily walked to it. Unfortunately buses trams and underground were on strike but we were still able to get about either by walking or using the hop on hop off bus. The hotel is very clean staff were really friendly. We had studio room which was brilliant complete with washer and dryer. Pool area was very quiet and pool and sauna were very nice after a day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
