Grand Aston La Habana

I was part of a group that was supposed to stay at a family-run casa particular, but the company switched us at the last minute to the Grand Aston. Big mistake. It's soulless, sterile and corporate. For a supposedly "luxury" hotel, it lacked basic amenities, like a bar of soap in the room! The staff was rude and incompetent and the breakfast chaotic. Most appallingly, I had a Cuban friend in my room for a grand total of 20 minutes when the staff banged on my door demanding I come out. No one ever told me I was not allowed to have someone in my room. They treated him like a criminal and forced me to pay for an extra night. It was extortion. And the woman at the desk was impossibly rude and nasty. Don't stay at here! Don't give your money to some faceless corporation based in Malaysia. Stay in a casa particular and give your money to a deserving Cuban family!!

I decided to travel to cuba to explore new horizons, i was recommended this hotel and it was a good choice. the rooms are very clean and i loved the weather. the public relations girls Marina, Marla and Ivania were very attentive to every need. 🥰🥰🥰

This hotel is amazing! It has the best views ever and rooms are super clean and comfortable. Guest services girls Marla,Marina and Ivania are wonderful and beautiful. Breakfast was over my expectations, I really liked it. Also, location was super convenient. I will definitely be back on my next vacations!
