Zafiro Palace Andratx

We were very excited about our luxury 5 star all inclusive holiday. Unfortunately the hotel has not lived up to our expectations. All pools close at 7, the pool bar closed at 6. The buffet restaurant that was supposed to be open at 10 refused to serve at 9:30 on arrival after our flight got delayed. The hotel bar gets shut down at 12 sharp before the lights go off and they march you out with a takeaway cup if there is anything left of your drink. There is no music in any of the pools or bars. The atmosphere is so deadly silent, it’s almost eerie. There is absolutely nothing to do for teenagers in the evening after the pools close at 7. There is no pool table or games room. We were told children over 12 are considered adults. All the staff agrees with us that the atmosphere is lacking, but this is the hotel management policy. You have to bring your own towels to the pool from the room and take them back afterwards, there are no towels at the pool at all. It is hard to understand what sort of customer profile the hotel is catering for but you cannot help but think they really don’t want you here. We are here with with our friends and kids, age ranging from 14 to 18, and all of us are disappointed especially considering the price. Having paid for all inclusive we are forced to leave the hotel to look for some entertainment for the kids. The rooms are clean and spacious and the food is excellent, the gym and the area are lovely, but it doesn’t make up for the lack of atmosphere which is dead boring. It is not for couples, it is not for families, its not for teenagers, Seriously badly managed and misjudged.

A fabulous hotel, spotlessly clean, very friendly helpful staff, food outstanding, private areas for adults to swim and relax . The spa is excellent, the massages we had nearly sent us to sleep! a short walk to the town and beach, which has some lovely beach bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a Family holiday at this wonderful hotel. There was plenty to do for our party of 6 adults and 5 children with lovely pools, excellent gym and spa facilities as well as a great children's club which was ideal for getting the kids out of the sun for an hour or so. Every single member of staff we came across were so welcoming and friendly which is a great strength in any hotel. We chose an all-inclusive, Club room which I would highly recommend especially with the plunge pool. Last but not least, all the restaurants on site were magnificent with the highest quality of food served at all times. Well done Zafiro, see you next summer for our 4th visit !

Had a lovely week in a one bed suite - we booked b+b but upgraded on arrival to half board which was convenient and reasonable value Highlights- lovely friendly staff - thank you for looking after us! nice mix of Englush / German / Spanish guests typically As the hotel is elevated, amazing views down to the sea, and surrounded by pine covered mountains on all sides - we never got bored on the views! 4 restaurants plus a buffet - generally enjoyed all the food selection though I felt a week was enough plenty of sunbeds, 3 nice pools, Everywhere kept impeccably clean Nice indoor gym / spa pool location - short walk down into Camp de Mar - jet skiing rental on the beach was great! 10 euro taxi ride to Andraxt worth a visit Golf course on site - excellent Cons - not many with regards the hotel, but I'd say if you want some life outside of the hotel, not much going on hotel generally quite / caters to families its not a party place ( this also may be a pro depending on what you want!!) If you want to sit on the beach go early - no sunbeds left by lunchtime!! looking forward to trying some other zafiro hotels in majorca

We have been coming here for the last 3 years, it is so special. The quality of the hotel, from the rooms, pools, bars & resturaunts is first class. The staff are always happy, friendly and very helpful. The quality is telling, there is no degradation over the period of times we have visited. We have never seen a thing out of place. Also, the staff are familiar , with very few new faces, so I can only assume it is a good place to work.
