Protur Naisa Palma

I spent 4 nights at the Protur Naisa in early April. Everything was great from arrival to departure. We arrived at the hotel after midnight due to a late flight. We were greeted by Raul. He was very welcoming, helpful and polite. Raul also provided a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar. On entering our room (room 408). The room was clean. It was a good size. Big bathroom too. It was overlooking the street. The room had complimentary water, tea and coffee. There was a mini-bar/fridge which was a good size to store drinks and snacks. The bathroom was a good size, nice toiletries, plenty of towels. The beds were very comfortable. Had a great sleep. The shower was very powerful. Housekeeping service was provided each day. Breakfast starts at 0730. What a great choice - cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, rolls, pastries and other small cakes. There was also a hot selection. There is a roof terrace. There is also a spa but did not use. There is also a large library next to the reception. Very bright and comfortable room. Great to sit here - read, relax and enjoy. Wonderful leather Chesterfield Sofas and armchairs. All staff (reception, bar staff, housekeeping) were friendly, polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A special mention to Ernesto, Avril and Valentina but all staff were great. I contacted the hotel a few times before I arrived. Each time they were so helpful. They arranged a transfer for me from the airport. The hotel also offers a lunch each day except Sunday. It is a 3 course lunch and costs €17 Monday to Friday and €19 on Saturday. It was very popular, including with locals. Unfortunately, I didn’t eat lunch. I was more than satisfied with the choice at breakfast so only needed a snack at lunch time. Prices at the bar and for coffee were very reasonable. Great location. Everything is within walking distance. All attractions and shops are around 15 minutes walk away. Police station is next door. Supermarkets, including Mercadona are very near the hotel. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return. Hopefully later this year. Thank you to everyone. You’re doing a great job.

We booked this hotel after reading good comments and also because everything else was booked in Palma - My advice if you are planning on visiting Palma make reservations six months in advance ! The only positive thing about this hotel is central location. The rest: - Very expensive for the amenities your are being offered (not even sure what they are). Hotel looks modern ect but cheap construction. - The Room decent size but the wallpaper is really poorly done - felt quite stuffy in there. - The shower - the paint in the ceiling was coming off. - The smell of the room was terrible - all night long you can smell pipelines + cigarette and molding/humidity. - For this type of hotel - no soundproofing thus you can hear guests slamming doors, chatting in the corridor ect - The rooftop terrace was dirty - glasses and bottles everywhere. - The spa/interior pool had three holes in it covered with plastic and tape - not an environment you would like to be in. - Worst breakfast - very low quality choices and nothing fresh. Overall very bad experience for one night and for the price you pay - I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

A great hotel in a perfect central location. We had a great 3 night stay in this quiet, peaceful, clean hotel. The weather wasn't warm enough to sit on the roof top terrace, but we spent an afternoon in the indoor pool & sauna area. A great selection for breakfast which caters for all tastes. Reception staff were very helpful & friendly. Would recommend a room at the front of the hotel for a better view from the bedroom window, we had a room at the rear with not a great view but it did not spoil the overall stay.

Our first time in Palma and couldn’t of chose a better hotel basically it’s within waking distance to all the lovely tapas bars , shops and cathedral. Staff at reception so friendly and helpful. Room was super clean and perfect for city break Would recommend this hotel and also highly recommend a visit to lovely Palma

The hotel is in a good location in the heart of palma city. Good variety and choice of hot and cold breakfast. We were in room 114, when we booked it, it was stated as a double room, the room had twin beds. We asked to be moved and Patricia on reception was very helpful in trying to find a room with a double bed. However the double room was very small, so we staying in the twin room and housekeeping joined the bed by putting a topper on both beds and with one double bedsheet. The bed was comfortable albeit you had to stay away from the middle due to the joining of 2 beds as you dip a little in the middle. The room was always spotless as was the hotel. The style of the hotel was modern, lots of wood, clean lines. In our opiomion it could do with more character. It is more for the business traveller than leisure traveller.
