Admiral De Luxe

We had a fantastic 10 days at the admiral de lux , all the staff are amazing from the reception to the cleaning staff The food was fantastic , my son has a wheat allergy and fish allergy and there was so much food that was gluten free so he ate so much ! We can not fault this hotel at all Our family ranges from 50 years old to 11 months old and we all loved it !

Our stay here was relaxing, comfortable and very enjoyable. As with many hotels here they are built into the hill, therefore are compact with external terraces and internal stairs. The location here is reasonably quiet and 5mins away from the main road. The hotel guests consisted of couples and families, mostly mixed European. The food was very good, with a variety of dishes to choose from, served in small batches which helped to keep the food fresh. A lovely touch was the occasional snacks and drinks served to your sunbed throughout the day, by staff who worked hard to make our stay very enjoyable. The pool is small and fairly shallow, so don't expect to be swimming lengths or training for the Olympics. For our stay, plenty of sunbeds were available and comfy, and it was refreshing to see that most did not go down early and reserve them with their towels.In fact staff on occasion removed those! Drinks at the bar were generally good, local spirits and mixers along with draft beer all went down well, the bar staff proficient at making consistent drinks and cocktails. Evening entertainment was provided, a couple of the acts were excellent. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, serviced each day. Reception were helpful and friendly, and dealt with any concerns effectively. Anything to moan about for the money paid.. absolutely not!

A really nice hotel and a very relaxing 10 days was had. Restaurant and pool area are all very clean, and I couldn’t get rid of the cleaner for the room! In everyday and always checking if I needed new towels, don’t get that level of service these days. I was a bit worried about the food, all inclusive can be a bit hit and miss. I was really impressed, I can’t see how anyone could complain about breakfast, they have everything you could ever need or want. Then comes snack time, burgers, sandwiches, salads etc. They also come round the pool with some of these and a drink so you don’t need to get up, Lunch and dinner are probably the same but you can’t complain about the choice on offer. Couple of bad reviews on here regarding the food but I find that a bit incredible? It’s also nit picking saying it gets a bit samey, if you look at the restaurant menus outside the hotel everyone is exactly the same! There’s also a really good bbq on a Saturday and I liked the ice bucket with cans of mythos on the bar to go with it! Drinks at the bar were decent too, tap beer was okay, the wine on tap was no worse than a regular bottle of house wine, certainly not awful. Big cocktail list , I stuck to my usual 3 and was more than happy. There’s a young lad at the bar who deserves some extra credit from the management, he has a large tattoo of a female on his arm ( a nice tattoo and a good reason for it…I asked). Missed him on my last night so say thank you to him. Couple of small negatives but just stupid things that you could say about any hotel. All in all, very good and the staff honestly couldn’t try harder. I know it’s all inclusive but maybe a little tip jar at the bar, I’m sure everyone can see the work involved and wouldn’t mind sticking in the odd coin or note.

Just returned yesterday after 9 nights at this really lovely hotel. The staff were all lovely especially the restaurant manageress Elena. She was always pleasant & helpful & would go above & beyond to accommodate. Will definitely be returning. The food was also amazing & plenty of choice. Cleanliness of rooms etc excellent!!

Five friends (women) decided on this hotel for our annual girlie week away. Lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely food and drinks, comprehensive cocktail list. Staff come around the pool throughout the day with snacks which is a nice touch. Rooms are spacious and we had a swim up pool, the swim up pools are shared with two other rooms. The only negative, which didn’t bother me but could bother others - rooms aren’t cleaned everyday and oddly we had a bed change/clean towels the day before we were leaving. Possibly housekeeping could look at a timetable update. Really close to town and not hilly as others have said, just a slight incline. Nice that there isn’t a scramble for sunbeds around the pool. We got a taxi to St Nicholas beach, 30 euro each way but between us this wasn’t much more than a local bus. Beach lovely and worth a trip as you see a bit of the island in the cab. Also got glass bottom boat trip 35 euros for half day, small boat with around 30 people, worth the trip, we booked with Michael Tours 100m or so down from hotel on right. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday.
