Admiral De Luxe

Currently staying at the Admiral de luxe or should i say Admiral de sucks, we arrived for a one week stay and anticipated it after reading the reviews prior to coming. We arrived late due to a delay which was no issue as for those that holiday know these things happen, upon arrival reception staff were friendly and couldnt do more to get you in and settled, we were shown to the restaurant as they wanted us fed after a long day of travelling well there was next to nothing there so we walked straight back out and were shown to our room, our room was lovely and spacious and we upgraded to a private swim up pool (was cold but suited purpose) toilet (cracks in the toilet seat but didnt affect use) and shower screen attached so if your short like me you have to climb in to put the plug in if your wanting a bath. Entertainment is only on a selected few evenings which it does tell you on the tv under hotel information if your wanting late nights this certainly isnt the hotel for you. Hotel cleaners are amazing and come in most days (we were shocked after arriving sunday that they appeared early hours monday morning) two days over a week period they change bedding and towels but you can get a sign from reception to put on the door if you require this sooner but they do come into rooms on a daily basis. Drinks are not advertised properly for what you get for all inclusive or prices for what you can buy except the cocktails that are included which personally i wouldnt bother with as taste awful, alot of the time you stand waiting around whilst the bar staff finish what ever there doing for example 3 to make one drink whilst me and my partner just stood there looking lost (not even a apology or i wont be a moment) just a grunt as if it was an effort to be serving us. Location is lovely its a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants, there is a beach within walking distance but it really isnt anything to write home about, we took a cab to laganas which had a beautiful sandy beach lots of shops, bars and restaurants along the front but the main strip is mainly for the younger generation with nothing opening till 5pm if not later. Food on complex was disgusting, luke warm on every visit and bland!! This is only ok if your first in line and like fish, pork and anything in a tomato and oregano sauce which again is flavourless, on days there is more of a meat variety its gone in minutes and unless you want to wait to re join the chaous of a que i wouldnt bother, there is no system in the restaurant just free for all making it very over whelming. We paid just shy of 2500 for a week and certainly wont ever do it again by far the worst all inclusive we have ever done wont return again with spending well over 1000 on eating and drinking out to enjoy what we thought would be an amazing week away. One thing ive learnt deffo trust the reviews because if i had i wouldnt be writing this now, yes there is good and some things are amazing the hotel is the best looking in my opinion from the drop offs on the island, the day trips are unreal but unfortunatley admiral de luxe is one hotel for its food definatley sucks!!!

2nd visit. Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Booked a swim up room which was tucked at back of hotel so nice and quiet. Food good lots of traditional Greek dishes. Recommend hiring a vehicle to explore island. Staff very friendly. Hotel kept clean.

We had read the reviews after booking this last minute break and arrived with some trepidation, however we were blown away by the attention of the staff, nothing was any trouble for them. Special mention for Elena the Service Manager, WOW what can we say about this one woman dynamo, absolute first class service from her, her care and attention to everything helps make this hotel the friendly little haven it is, thank you Elena x VODKA!!! Drina and Elvira in the restaurant again lovely , lovely people and service with a smile every single day Bar staff were attentive and always smiling too A mention also for Emanuala on reception and Pellum the General Manager. The hotel is small and so friendly with great pool area which is cleaned every single morning by the wonderful team who never stop. The hotel is a leisurely stroll from Argassi about 5 mins or so We arrived anxious but left with many new friends and look forward to retuning Absolutely first class

We visited Admiral de luxe for a 4 night trip in May for our birthdays. The hotel was absolutely spotless and well maintained by the staff throughout. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the hotel is very modern and a vibe! The food was delicious and there was plenty of selection. The staff were so polite and accommodating, one staff member in particular stood out to us(unfortunately we didn’t catch her name but we believe she may be the restaurant supervisor/manager). It was my birthday during our visit and she noticed and asked my partner if they could do a cake, sing happy birthday and also gifted us a bottle of Prosecco - a memorable birthday. The pool was lovely but quite cold took a little getting used to. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future! Thank you to all the staff!

Just got back from a week's stay at the Admiral de Lux and had a fantastic holiday. Peaceful location with sounds of birdsong, but close to bars and beach. Room immaculate and maids kept it so. Food was restaurant quality with plenty of choice. Little extras like a different drink to try with dinner, given with a smile as you walked into the restaurant for dinner, was a lovely touch. As were the afternoon drinks and snacks handed out by staff around the pool. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming and a credit to the hotel. Our first time in Zakynthos and what a beautiful island. We will definitely return
