Nautilux Rethymno by Mage Hotel

Hotel otwarty w połowie czerwca 2022 miałam obawy dokonując rezerwacji czy hotel będzie gotowy i w pełni funkcjonował podczas mojego pobytu bo różnie bywa z nowymi obie katami ale pomyliłam się hotel działał w 100% na wysokim poziomie ,nowoczesny obiekt bezpośrednio przy plaży,pokoje duże przestronne,warto dopłacić do widoku na morze ,śniadania urozmaicone ,w niedziele brunch z muzyką na żywo ,obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna,hotel położony około 2 km od ścisłego centrum ,jak dla mnie na tą chwile nr 1 w Rethymno

I don't know where to start. Despite what the picture might make believe, the hotel is sandwiched between other properties in the middle of a busy area. Rooms have views on the nearby parking lot, or gas tanks on the roof of nearby buildings. the access to the beach is a narrow passage, the "beachfront" is really a few meters (check satellite imaging !). The hotel itself looks brand new, and extra modern, but it's a weird type of "cheap luxury". Their own loud entertainment plays until 11pm right under your room. Their "supermodern" automatic lighting system automatically switch on all the lights in your room at 3am, several times in a row, waking you up in a panic, and all they can offer is "oh, sorry" - we didn't sleep. A complete disaster of a stay. For this kind of money, you have MUCH, MUCH, better options. run away.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. We stayed for 3 night on an 2-week trip to Crete, this was probably the best of all places we stayed. Friendly and very professional staff, amazing breakfast (plenty of good quality food for any preferences), extremely clean. Our room was spacious and functional, well designed and quiet. Importantly for that time of year (we were there in June), the air con was perfect. I would definitely come back next time I'm back in Crete.
