Asterion Suites & Spa - by Louis Hotels

We went to Greece for our 50th anniversary and Crete was our first island. Asterion Suites was everything we could hope for; pretty surroundings, beautiful rooms, right on the beach, great pool, delicious food, and outstanding staff and service. A special shout out to Mike and Dimitra for being so helpful in planning excursions and restaurant suggestions.

We had a truly fantastic stay at the Asterion Suites & Spa in Crete. We particularly appreciate the extremely courteous, friendly, and highly professional staff, led by their GM George, who even greeted us personally with a handshake upon our arrival. Thank you for your Freddo! :-) We were treated like friends, not like the usual paying customers, even though we were only there for five nights. The food was varied and delicious, and the selection was well thought out. The portion sizes at lunch from the menu were well-chosen and didn't overwhelm us. Manolis anticipated our every need in the restaurant throughout the day and practically became a friend over the course of our vacation. Roula presented us with delicious creations from the pool bar by our sunbeds, and Goran accompanied us through the evenings with his friendly manner and skill. The housekeeping team did their work conscientiously, and we found our room very clean and beautiful. In our opinion, the property is in very good condition. There are beautiful blooming flowers everywhere, the pool is very clean, and the furniture is well-maintained. The service staff are pleasantly unassuming but present. The lobby invites you to linger, and the entertaining musical evenings made our stay a varied experience. In fact, we have nothing to complain about. Minor details become irrelevant when you consider the overall picture. We highly recommend this charming hotel and look forward to seeing you again. Thank you so much!

We stayed at the Asterion for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely amazing! We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived and throughout our entire stay. We had our own private pool, enjoyed the main pool, and loved that the beach was right in front of the resort. We were especially well taken care of by Goran, one of the managers. He always greeted us with a warm smile, offered excellent service, and gave us great food recommendations — we truly felt appreciated. We can’t wait to visit again! It was such a beautiful and memorable time, and we’re so glad we chose to stay here for our honeymoon.

We had an amazing stay at Asterion. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean and our balcony was amazing. The staff are all extremely friendly and every one of them was so kind. A special shout out to Maria, Manoulls and Roula for being exceptional. I have coeliac disease and need to eat gluten free and everyday there was a great choice of fresh meat/fish that I could have. The lunch and buffet dinner options are some of the best I’ve had at an all inclusive. The only thing that would have made it better for me is if there were more gluten labels on the food name cards. It sometime listed allergens but marking each dish as GF or not would’ve been great. The cosy vibe of the hotel is perfect for a relaxing week away. Thank you to all at the Asterion. We would absolutely visit again and we would recommend it to others!

Our last night at the Asterion Suites. Highly recommend this place. Lovely hotel. Ideally located on the beach. Not too busy. The food is spot on but what makes the place so relaxing is the friendly staff throughout. Will definitely be back.
