Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa

Amazing hotel, great staff who were very polite, fast at bringing you drinks, and Tomas was very helpful when I hurt my leg. Food at the buffet was nice, and the hotel itself was so nice inside, the only negative I would put on the whole hotel is that if you don’t pay extra for a good view room the ones with a view of the back aren’t the best so I would recommend paying a bit extra for the sea view rooms. Also people whine about getting sunbeds at the main pool but the rooftop pool area is great anyway, we liked it up there better.

Firstly I want to say thank you to- Zoi, Issai, Magdenlina,Janka,Jerson,Dorina they are all superstars and exceptional people. The hotel is amazing and the room was fantastic and thank you for the upgrade to a pool view we thank you warmly. Zoi is one of the best people I have met on holiday. Pool clean hotel clean. Downside the food was not great at all breakfast doesn’t have enough choices or flavours and the dinner (we did half board) got worse and worse as the week went on. It’s upsetting because this is the only thing that lets the hotel down. We paid 3.3k for our holiday and then drinks are not included in dinner is annoying but we live. The airport staff were lovely and our transfers came from TLT our driver from the airport was great didn’t grab his name but he was polite and friendly. Meet some really nice people and it was a great vibe. Hotel staff are all polite and exceptional. Dorina is hard working, warm, polite and fantastic. Thank you for cleaning our rooms and working hard everyday to ensure everyone is happy. Also just need to play more up beat music by the pool and you should offer complementary snacks by the pool would be great. Thank you to everyone for a great holiday. It was lovely meeting you all and we will be back next year. Wish you all the best to a wonderful team.

This is my third trip to Akasha. This is a beautiful hotel and the service is excellent. Staff are great and extremely helpful. A big shoutout to the beach side bar staff!!

My wife and I have had the massage and facial, we have had various spa treatments throughout Europe and the experience was by far the best. Xristofor and Dimitra were outstanding. The spa boasts a premium feel from start to finish. We will be back the next time we visit hersonissos.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Akasha Beach & Spa Hotel from 7-16 July. This was our 3rd year running visiting Hersonissos and this hotel ticked all boxes when booking. On arrival at midnight, we were given a warm welcome and a porter helped us with our luggage and showed us around our room. Due to time of arrival we had two sandwiches left in fridge which we didn’t eat…they were left in fridge for a few days and I had to put in bin to get taken from the maid! We had booked a dazzling sea view room and was pleasantly surprised with view….both sea and main pool. No issues with the room at all apart from tv only having one English Channel which was BBC News……any other nationality had lots of tv channel choice!! We didn’t book hotel for watching tv but maybe add on some more English channels please for when getting ready at night…..news is so depressing!! We had booked half board. We only had breakfast twice which was fine but was expecting more from a 5 star hotel. Dinner was buffet style. It was fine and had no complaints really. Waitress service ok but most walked around looking like they didn’t want to be there! Drinks extra cost. No coffee available at dinner which I thought was strange. Location of hotel was fine. 15 minute walk into the centre of things. Don’t be put off with the comments about pool situation. Yes the main pool you have to queue to get a Sun bed but we spent most time at pool near beach which was more quieter. I didn’t want to spend my day watching social influencers taking photos/selfies!!! Big shout out to Costas at the beach pool who waited on us so well and always had a smile on his face and nothing was too much trouble. The other staff members who worked with him should take tips from him! Overall a great stay and we would probably stay again. Not sure it’s a 5 star hotel though
