(26/05/25 – 05/06/25) *ROOM* We were allocated Rooms 410, which had two bedrooms with 4 single beds - was basic, kitted out with a fridge, and 2 ring hob (disconnected). WI-FI is secure with a good signal in the room, restaurant and main pool areas. Air con was included 24/7. Balcony had a table + 3x chairs. No kettle, but just ask for one for no charge. Large flat screen TV with many foreign channels, two English (though not a problem as we didn’t travel to watch TV). Showroom with hairdryer. *STAFF* The staff were excellent. They will do anything possible to make you comfortable and enjoy your stay. *HOTEL GENERAL* We arrived just before midnight, consequently the receptionist had prepared some sandwiches and fruit, which we didn’t eat as it was really late. Maid service was provided every day Really hard beds. 5 pools – 1 main and 4 smaller with plenty of loungers. Visit the tortoise area. Approx. 20 tortoises in the community. Holiday tax is 100 euros for 10 days, payable cash on arrival. it’s not a 4 star, easyJet describe it as 3 stars, but might even pass for 2 stars. *ENTERTAINMENT* Greek musicians, and a Greek dance performance act, which was very good. *DINING* Breakfast, snacks, and dinner buffet style. The local fishing village is 20min walk, with stony beaches, harbour and loads of tavernas. *GENERAL* There is a very well stocked supermarket located on-site for water and anything you’ve forgotten. The bus service is excellent and reliable. 3.9 euros to Corfu town The hotel was popular with foreign families, became more popular with the slightly older English traveller towards the end of our stay. Teenagers go crazy in Kavos, so no boozy lads to worry about.

If you’re looking to book this resort based on photos from websites please do a bit more research because the Michelangelo resort from photos does not exist. Arrived on the 29th May for a day 9 stay HB, booked through easyJet holidays as I always do based on the website photos. Arrived at 1300 at the reception to be told we can’t get in the room until 1500, the receptionist gave the impression she would sooner be somewhere else, I was told I had to pay the tourist tax in “Cash” so be prepared for that one, when we eventually got in the room which was on the main rd opposite the supermarket, the room was like a Victorian prison cell only with less light, not a picture or mirror to liven the place up, no curtains on the small window which allowed the light from the outside to light the room up all night long, there’s was NO kettle and the shower resembled something you would expect from a tenner a week bedsit. The food was ok for me as I eat anything but the selection was poor as it was all done on the cheap. The resort is run down and in need of some serious money being spent on it the staff are all polite but there was sign of anybody being of anything, the pool bar ( which is the bar) is a disaster, they have a menu but have run out of everything, moreover as you pay in cash they’ve never got any change, ask for a cup of tea for 2euros he’s gone 5 mins. Do some serious research before booking this place, it’s supposed to be 4 star, I wouldn’t give it 2 stars. Best of luck with this one

Dears, We spent a week at the resort from 31st May to 7th June, 2025 through a travel agency. May is a bit risky in Corfu as far as the weather is concerned, but we were lucky as it turned into 'summer mode' just a few days before our arrival. 3 pools are available, one smaller at the reception, one for kids and the main one at the bar. The room was pretty basic, however, equipped with air conditioning, and the bed was very comfortable. Cleaning occurred every day, including changing of the towels. At your stay, the Animators are taking care of the entertainment. I must point out that they are very involved, take care of everyone, assure a great atmosphere at the resort. Their work was the 'cherry on the top', their dedication made a true difference at our stay, with no exception. A super-high-level entertainment is provided by them with their activities. Very helpful and unique people, hats off before them! There is a bus stop near the resort, from where Corfu City can be accessed. It is possible to buy ticket on the bus - only for cash. From Kassiopi main square (only there, not from near the resort!), there is a bus that goes to Sidari (worth checking out, amazing destination). If you are a person who likes to visit places during your stay, it is highly advised to hire a car - as only Corfu City and Sidari can be accessed via bus. Car hiring we recommend you do through the reception, as no deposit will be asked for, and the administration is much easier (we checked out other possibilities - no good). Hiring a car opens up new dimensions when it comes to seeing Corfu's attractions (Kanoni, Paleokastritsa, Porto Timoni, La Grotta Bar, Sissi's Castle - though interior is being renovated, so closed, etc.). Driving a car may seem scary at first glance due to the condition of the roads (often narrow and up-down), but we do encourage everyone to do that, as local drivers are very helpful, and you are not tied to the schedule of the bus. Regarding mobile roaming, the proximity of Albania may result in automatic connection to Albanian mobile networks, which may cause high phone and mobile internet charges. In order to avoid that, it is advised to turn off automatic network selection in the phone Settings, and choose a Greek provider. In this way, you may not have connection sometimes, but you will not be extra charged for using a non-EU mobile network. To sum up: Pluses: always good weather, the never-fading Greek hospitality, amazing food, English is spoken almost everywhere. Minuses: toilet paper cannot be flushed in the toilet, tap-water is not drinkable at all Enjoy Your stay!

Our room was great, very clean, great air con and comfy bed although had heard some cleanliness complaints from other guests but they were given new rooms after complaint. Pool is lovely as are the pool bar staff. Food in restaurant is hit and miss but usually can find something you like. The main reason given such a good review is location is a 10 minute walk into kassiopi and to all beaches it's such a beautiful spot. Special mention also to jude who organises entertainment such a nice guy and makes it his business to to know everyone and do activities for both kids and adults.
