Melina Oasis

I stayed here in October 2024 and have just realised I hadn’t posted a review. This hotel was superb. Very clean, modern and 5 minutes walk to the marina. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very peaceful. Bedrooms are air conditioned and have a fridge, good for storing water and wine! The pool and garden area were very quiet with plenty of sun beds and parasols. A continental breakfast was served daily with a good variety of choice. The leaving gift was a lovely touch and I felt I took a little bit of Kassiopi home with me. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when I return to Kassiopi.

Went here for our Rugby wedding anniversary at the beginning of July were not disappointed what a beautiful hotel this is. Everything was lovely and clean we had a suite room and it didn't disappoint. We are going back a again this year at the same time and we can't wait we have booked a triple room and looks really lovely on their website food breakfast was really really nice good choice to eat from cooked breakfast to fresh fruit salads cold meats breads the choices very very good the pool is just the right size for this beautiful small hotel the staff are really really nice and very helpful.

Kassiopi is a wonderful place, for me the best area to stay in north Corfu. You have plenty of restaurants to choose from, everything is close by, and the marina is great. As for the hotel, the staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms (we stayed in the suite at the front of the hotel) are spacious, modern and clean, and the air con is excellent. Breakfast has continental and cooked options, the quality of the food is good and everything is fresh. There are two reasons why I’ve given this review 4 stars and not 5. To be clear, these are two things that I don’t personally care about but I know for some travellers they would be important… if you’re looking for a room with a view this isn’t the best hotel choice for you. You’re either overlooking the street (which we actually found was a good people watching spot) or you’re looking at a car park entrance. When booking, my advice would be to request a room at the front of the property. The second reason is the pool area. It’s a small hotel, so the pool area is quite small (perfect for us!). Three challenges we found with the pool: 1) the pool is raised above most of the sun loungers so if you have small children and need to watch them whilst in the pool this could be a problem, 2) although there were 4 sun loungers at pool level the parasols in this area were fixed - so if you like the shade you’re in trouble, 3) there are some domestic apartments overlooking the pool. One of the residents leaves his dog in there all day and it barks for hours - it didn’t bother me but some other guests did mention it. If you’re not obsessed with having a sea view and you can live with the layout of the pool area, this hotel is an excellent choice for you. I can’t fault anything else about our stay. If these two aspects are important to you, the owner of the hotel has a 2nd site about 50-100m down the road on the front of the harbour which you’d probably prefer. We’ve booked to stay again next year we loved it so much!
