Hotel Vendome

The room was very small and the toilet tank would start filling up randomly. However, the location was great, staff very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed my stay here very much. It is a refurbished Hotel Particulier 140-years old classical in the centre of Nice 100 mètres from the tramway taking people to the airport. 7 minutes to the old Town and beach and the same distance to the centre of the city for shopping or business. Breakfast was perfect with a lot of organic and fresh food choices. My room had a terrace, and I could sit outside in the evening and enjoy a drink and look at the rooftops and soak up the ambience of Nice. Very reasonably priced and the room sizes are not tiny like many in France. Will certainly be coming back here (don't tell anyone as I won't be able to secure a room for myself if everyone finds out about this hidden gem).

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Small room but it was a single room and had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Had great airconditioning. Walkable to everywhere you needed to get to. Was good to stay in somewhere a little more historic. The elevator was tiny and fit only me and my luggage. Breakfast had a good variety. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here for a few nights in June 2025. The room was nice and clean and breakfast was good! The rooms are a little tight if you have a lot of luggage, and the shower/tub was very small for a 6-foot man. All the employees were lovely!

From the outside, the hotel is gorgeous. The hotel is very safe. We like the idea of water dispensers in the main lobby. We also love the fact to have Nespresso in the bedroom. Unfortunately, our room was extremely small - and we are used to European standard as we travel across Europe, but this is pushing it. I'm 1.85 metre and about 90kg and the shower was almost impossible for me. My wife is much smaller and she could barely maneuver while showering. Our daughter was using the loft and even her shower was very small - we didn't have any space to maneuver on the main floor with luggages. The insolation between rooms is non-existent as we were disturbed by the noisy family next door every night. I'm not willing to recommend this place as there is too much negative over positive and we won't go back.
