First hotel ever I intend to go back to next year. Two weeks all inclusive in April. Room - Family room, ground floor by the heated pool. Spacious, clean, modern. Wanted to watch Arsenal games - hotel added Bein Sport at no extra cost. Resort - massive. Number of pools including a heated one to chill, large pool by the beach with all the animation business and a large waterpark that my 9yo could not get enough of. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. Very safe to the point that my lil one was just roaming around freely with her holiday bestie and trust me I can be overprotective. Entertainment did not blow my socks off but my daughter liked it plus it takes place next to the main building and the bar which is a bonus. Food was very good. Fresh and versatile. Chicken, beef, turkey, steamed salmon, squid, tuna, sushi plus local specialities like tahini and more. Very good on site diving centre - Aquarius. Special thanks to the owner and to the salesman Mustafa aka Mufasa from Kolobrzeg. I recommend scuba at their local reef - Ras Ghabli which translates to Beautiful head. I saw a green sea turtle and over 2m giant moray eel with those guys. Some experience is recommended there however due to the occasional currents. Drinks - tip couple quid here and there and your glass will never be empty and I mean table (lounger) service. Special thanks to Mohammed who was a barman by the heated pool bar. He is a class of his own. Dont know about high season but in April there were always loungers available. Beach - stunning, overlooking Tiran Island. Private hotel beach. Reception - no issues. helpful and with decent command of English Tuk-Tuk running between the reception and the front gate. Hotel shops - dont bother. 4x the local price. Taking absolute liberties. for day to day needs go to local Metro. 200 meters to the left once you exit the hotel. Main pool music can be too loud at times and they are obsessed with QUEEN. I now know all Freddie's lyrics by heart. Weather in April is glorious. 26-32*, slight breeze in a morning. Lots of sun. Sunset before 1800. Overall best holiday out of my 4 visits to Egypt. Planning to go back next year. Highly recommend.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We've previously taken a risk and booked somewhere that looks nice in pictures and been disappointed, this was not the case here. Cleanliness - everywhere on site is immaculate every day. There are so many staff on site that are actively looking for any cleaning / tidying to do, and within seconds of dropping something or spilling something, someone appeared out of nowhere to clear it. The rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard: fresh towels, two litre bottles of water, nice patterns on the beds and funny little set ups done in the kids rooms with their teddies that they loved coming back to. The cleaners of the rooms are always around as they have assigned corridors, and when you come back from the pool they immediately change out your towels for you. Staff - all super friendly. I had two young girls with me, one aged 5 and one aged 9. Both of them are usually wary of strangers but felt comfortable with the staff here who played games with them, talked to them, made them feel comfortable, made them laugh and always went over and above to help. Around the pool the lifeguards are so attentive - if a smaller child goes too deep they usher them backwards into the shallow bit and ask an adult to join them. Last year at another resort we had issues with lifeguards being too strict and not letting people go in with pool toys, sit on the side with drinks etc and this was the total opposite. Facilities - we used the spa a few times - my children both had their hair braided (£30 each) on the second day of the holiday. On our departure day they re did them all for free to top them up for home. Myself and my partner paid £180 for 4 massages - two each over two days. Absolutely fantastic massages and they offered full use of the spa for free to our children whilst we were in there. Works out £45 per massage for an hour which is a lot less than I pay at home. There aren't many toilets on site however the ones they do have are well maintained. The beach is owned by the hotel (a section of it anyway) and the all inclusive bar down there is part of the package. It's literally a two minute walk from the pool, so you don't even have to pack up all your supplies and commit a whole day to it. We just left our things on the sunbed, walked into the sea and then came back an hour later. Food - I enjoyed the food here more than any all inclusive I've ever been on. Each night there was a variety but with some constants which is needed for children or picky eaters. Everything is fresh, the desserts are Michelin star standard and beautiful. We ate mostly at the buffet style restaurant but went to the Italian (free on all inclusive) one night. Options there were limited, but my meal was delicious. During the day, we made use of the Mermaid cafe by the beach / pool - freshly cooked pizzas / shawarma kebabs / pasta etc. Beautiful scenery between the sea and the pool to watch over whilst you eat and everything is fresh. Entertainment - I would give this 7/10. The animation team (specifically Georgia) really made it worthwhile for the children, but the external shows they got in were a bit lackluster. Rooms - we were so impressed with our room. We had a kids 'den' in ours which essentially made it a two bedroom flat. The children loved this as they had their own space, and we could shut their door on a night and still be able to talk without having to go to bed when they did. The king sized bed was beautiful, gorgeous mattress and lovely views from the sliding doors to our ground floor balcony area. The only issue I would have is the water pressure wasn't great so the shower was average. The water slides were fantastic, well managed and well maintained with safety rules in place. We anticipated spending most of our time there but only actually went twice because the children had so much fun in the other pools that we didn't need to. Overall, I'd 100% recommend coming here and we will be returning. There was so much to do that next time I'll be booking for longer than 7 days.
