Really good location only 15 mins from airport, grounds are lovely and well kept, with great facilities. Room was spacious and nice idea to have sliding doors for kids partition felt they had own space. Rooms cleaned well and lovely towel art. Water park was really good we have paid to go to specialist water parks that aren’t as good, even at peak times no queues. Life guards run park well. Beach was ok not fine sand but good beds with shade and easy entry into water plus all inclusive continues on beach. Pools were nice, cold but refreshing given how hot it was. Sunbeds are readily available but lifeguards do keep certain ones for those that tip the most. Daytime entertainment patchy - foam party and pool parties were highlights, Georgia’s enthusiasm was probably best bit of animation. The rest was often them copying YouTube videos for how to do stretching etc. As most people say wifi even if paid extra very poor especially during the day plus you get kicked out as soon as you check out. Night time entertainment was terrible, normally someone spinning around and nothing to do with animation team. Food ok, always something to eat, mermaid food court best for both lunch and specialist dinners. 3 out of 4 of us did end up with 24hr tummy bugs. Feel having to pay for drinks that you get as part of all inclusive package including water in Indian and stone court a bit spiteful. Drinks ok as part of all inclusive package but no sparkling wine or Irish cream however wine and spirits drinkable and soft drinks were branded rather than syrup based. Drinks service by pool wasn’t great sometimes someone came over and asked what you wanted but then normally forgot to bring. When go to bar instead of just giving you your drink would often say bring over to your seat which if arrived was often minutes after you wanted drink and then expected tip. Most staff helpful but some if didn’t tip frequently enough would be quite moody. Other issue is all the staff are male and can be a bit letchy to females including young girls. Overall I can see why people do come back again as facilities really good and very convenient for airport but little things Let it down compared to other similar rated places.

First hotel ever I intend to go back to next year. Two weeks all inclusive in April. Room - Family room, ground floor by the heated pool. Spacious, clean, modern. Wanted to watch Arsenal games - hotel added Bein Sport at no extra cost. Resort - massive. Number of pools including a heated one to chill, large pool by the beach with all the animation business and a large waterpark that my 9yo could not get enough of. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. Very safe to the point that my lil one was just roaming around freely with her holiday bestie and trust me I can be overprotective. Entertainment did not blow my socks off but my daughter liked it plus it takes place next to the main building and the bar which is a bonus. Food was very good. Fresh and versatile. Chicken, beef, turkey, steamed salmon, squid, tuna, sushi plus local specialities like tahini and more. Very good on site diving centre - Aquarius. Special thanks to the owner and to the salesman Mustafa aka Mufasa from Kolobrzeg. I recommend scuba at their local reef - Ras Ghabli which translates to Beautiful head. I saw a green sea turtle and over 2m giant moray eel with those guys. Some experience is recommended there however due to the occasional currents. Drinks - tip couple quid here and there and your glass will never be empty and I mean table (lounger) service. Special thanks to Mohammed who was a barman by the heated pool bar. He is a class of his own. Dont know about high season but in April there were always loungers available. Beach - stunning, overlooking Tiran Island. Private hotel beach. Reception - no issues. helpful and with decent command of English Tuk-Tuk running between the reception and the front gate. Hotel shops - dont bother. 4x the local price. Taking absolute liberties. for day to day needs go to local Metro. 200 meters to the left once you exit the hotel. Main pool music can be too loud at times and they are obsessed with QUEEN. I now know all Freddie's lyrics by heart. Weather in April is glorious. 26-32*, slight breeze in a morning. Lots of sun. Sunset before 1800. Overall best holiday out of my 4 visits to Egypt. Planning to go back next year. Highly recommend.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We've previously taken a risk and booked somewhere that looks nice in pictures and been disappointed, this was not the case here. Cleanliness - everywhere on site is immaculate every day. There are so many staff on site that are actively looking for any cleaning / tidying to do, and within seconds of dropping something or spilling something, someone appeared out of nowhere to clear it. The rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard: fresh towels, two litre bottles of water, nice patterns on the beds and funny little set ups done in the kids rooms with their teddies that they loved coming back to. The cleaners of the rooms are always around as they have assigned corridors, and when you come back from the pool they immediately change out your towels for you. Staff - all super friendly. I had two young girls with me, one aged 5 and one aged 9. Both of them are usually wary of strangers but felt comfortable with the staff here who played games with them, talked to them, made them feel comfortable, made them laugh and always went over and above to help. Around the pool the lifeguards are so attentive - if a smaller child goes too deep they usher them backwards into the shallow bit and ask an adult to join them. Last year at another resort we had issues with lifeguards being too strict and not letting people go in with pool toys, sit on the side with drinks etc and this was the total opposite. Facilities - we used the spa a few times - my children both had their hair braided (£30 each) on the second day of the holiday. On our departure day they re did them all for free to top them up for home. Myself and my partner paid £180 for 4 massages - two each over two days. Absolutely fantastic massages and they offered full use of the spa for free to our children whilst we were in there. Works out £45 per massage for an hour which is a lot less than I pay at home. There aren't many toilets on site however the ones they do have are well maintained. The beach is owned by the hotel (a section of it anyway) and the all inclusive bar down there is part of the package. It's literally a two minute walk from the pool, so you don't even have to pack up all your supplies and commit a whole day to it. We just left our things on the sunbed, walked into the sea and then came back an hour later. Food - I enjoyed the food here more than any all inclusive I've ever been on. Each night there was a variety but with some constants which is needed for children or picky eaters. Everything is fresh, the desserts are Michelin star standard and beautiful. We ate mostly at the buffet style restaurant but went to the Italian (free on all inclusive) one night. Options there were limited, but my meal was delicious. During the day, we made use of the Mermaid cafe by the beach / pool - freshly cooked pizzas / shawarma kebabs / pasta etc. Beautiful scenery between the sea and the pool to watch over whilst you eat and everything is fresh. Entertainment - I would give this 7/10. The animation team (specifically Georgia) really made it worthwhile for the children, but the external shows they got in were a bit lackluster. Rooms - we were so impressed with our room. We had a kids 'den' in ours which essentially made it a two bedroom flat. The children loved this as they had their own space, and we could shut their door on a night and still be able to talk without having to go to bed when they did. The king sized bed was beautiful, gorgeous mattress and lovely views from the sliding doors to our ground floor balcony area. The only issue I would have is the water pressure wasn't great so the shower was average. The water slides were fantastic, well managed and well maintained with safety rules in place. We anticipated spending most of our time there but only actually went twice because the children had so much fun in the other pools that we didn't need to. Overall, I'd 100% recommend coming here and we will be returning. There was so much to do that next time I'll be booking for longer than 7 days.

We chose coral sea waterworld based on the written reviews we had read and also from video reviews. My partner and I took our two boys of 11 and 9 years of age. Our initial impression of the hotel was it looked great coming in and the gardens were immaculate. The reception, lobby and restourant were also very well maintained and clean. Our room was a twin family room it was very spacious and clean however was showing its age and in need of some refurbishment. I know that this is ongoing at the hotel at the moment. The age of the hotel is evident if you look closely things are worn and or damaged but you cannot fault the cleanliness the place was super clean. Food and dining yet again something we cannot fault. There is so much choice and variety of food guaranteed something for everyone even the pickiest of eaters. We never utilised the alocarte restaurants at the hotel as we were more than satisfied with the bar foods and main buffet. Meal times can be busy and drinks can be served on the slower side but waiting staff are always around to ask. The pools and water park. The two main pools were very clean and well maintained. There is an abundance of seating so you never had to fight for loungers. One thing to note is that they are not crowded together which was a real positive. The lifeguards will help you set up your towels and bring you over cushions for them. I felt very safe with my children been in the pool as the life guards were very attentive and quick to speak with any children who needed it. The water park was open each day at 10 am, and the kids really enjoyed each ride and the lazy river. Visually, they look tiered and dated, but taken into consideration the age of the hotel this was to be expected. As with the other pool areas there was alot of lifeguards who were vigilant and attentive. Day and evening entertainment, whilst we were at the hotel there was a big change of staff in the entertainments team however Gergia and Zarina were absolutely amazing they went round to everyone at the hotel and were supper enthusiastic. They organised pool parties, water polo, football matches, zumba, yoga, darts and other activities for adults and their children. They also headed up the evening entertainment. Although we didn't really attend most of the shows we did however attend the fire dance on the beach and were blown away with how good it was. Outside of the hotel, when going out for a walk outside the hotel the security team take your room number and reason for leaving to ensure you are accounted for and they were supper friendly and very caring especially Kamal. The local shops sell all the souvenirs you can want but they are all very much the same and can be a bit pushy. The best two places to go is a shop called Waves ran by Adam and Mohamed which is next door to the falcon tours shop. The other is Dr Anubis literally the second shop as you leave the hotel. If you are wanting a meal out of the hotel directly over the road is Arab Bucks we went twice amazing food, football on the telly and just a lively vibe. Tours and further afield. If you want a tour visit falcon tours they are a 4 minute walk out of the hotel turn left and on the opposite side of the road. We did the ultimate desert experience on the evening £100 for 4 hours of dune buggies and quad bikes in the desert followed by a meal and a show at a local village. If you want some hustle and bustle go to old market lots of shops and bazars and the mosque at night is something to behold. If you want a glitzy fun filled day or evening visit Soho. Better at night all lit up dancing fountains ice bar and restaurants. Avoid the hotel taxi at £25 get a local taxi we paint 400 egytian. We have had an amazing time at the coral sea waterworld but what made it even more special was several members of staff. They were so attentive, friendly, couldn't do more to help you if they tried. I want to say a special thank you to Zarina and Gerogia from the entertainment team. Ahmed Alaa from the restourant. Osamma Mustafa Mahmoud Gehad Mahamed Mosaad From the Big Pool Bar Mohamed Ibrahim Abdo Mustafa From the River pool. Abdola Rahmen our house keeper. Apologies if the spelling of the names isn't quite correct. Overall an amazing two weeks away great hotel amazing location yes it's showing its age in a few places but we had a blast.
