Kapetanios Aqua Resort

I have been to this hotel several times now and it's a great place to stay. The staff are all amazing and work really hard to make sure you have a great holiday. The food is ok, lots of choice. The pools, lazy river and splash park are brilliant. The lifeguards unfortunately need to be more consistent. You had one lifeguard that couldn't be bothered and would let kids dive into the pool, right in front of him and didn't say a word. Also adults in the lazy grabbing their drinks on the way round, despite signs saying no food and drink in the pool, also no diving signs. Once in a while they need to get up from their chairs and have a walk round to check. Unfortunately the entertainment wasn't as good as last year. Last year we had JD who organised water polo every day, there was none of that this year, just a bit of aquarobics a couple of times. On a night, the kids entertainment was 6 songs, which were the same 6 songs every night, it would have been nice for a bit of variety. We only had 2 acts on throughout the week. A Tom Jones singer who was really good and some Cypriot dancers. It was just a bit of a let down after the entertainment last year. Not sure if it was because it was different time of year. The girls did ok with the entertainment but that was it. Again, all the staff are amazing, from the porters and waiters to the managers. We will definitely be going again and would recommend the hotel.

Overall a good hotel, the location is nice with shops, bars and restaurants up the hill, also easy to catch the bus from here to Coral Bay beach or Paphos harbour. Food was moderate to good, some nights at dinner better than others with more options to suit. Snack bar provides lovely food between meal times and drinks are fab. We also booked the Taverna at the hotel and this was great. Most staff are lovely and very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean with strong air con, comfy bed. Only downside is you do not get given a bath plug as standard we asked at reception and after a few days we got one. Beach towels are available in your room. Pools were really nice and easy to get a sunbed and umbrella. Families and children would enjoy this hotel.

Well it was a good hotel . So , the room was fantastic! Nice beds and all and the air conditioning was excellent in the blazing heat . Overall , it was a lovely hotel with nice food and entertainment. Shout out to Jessica , Erin (entertainment team ) and Calum and Peirce ( the lifeguards ).
