Hotel is nice but not finished! They are still working on the other side of the hotel, there isn’t any steps or anything to get down to the beach so you have to walk in dirt to get onto the path. Most of the workers are miserable. You have to order food for snacks which isn’t great when you have young children. They give you a menu and you have to order off of that. We saw someone else with melon so we asked for some of that. Ice creams are small and cheap. There was work being done outside our room waking us up at 6-6.30 every morning. Two rolls kept going past the room shaking it. This was unacceptable as the jet2 rep said no more work would be done to us to yet again wake up to more work being done. We ended up moving hotels for our last night.

The apartments : Arrived the day after the apartments opened after refurbishment, a lot of amenities were not yet ready but it didn’t affect our stay in any way. The apartments are modern, clean and a good size, could do with some drawer space but plenty of wardrobe space. The shower screens in the bathroom would benefit from resealing as the floor got very wet while showering. Cleaners came most days and did a thorough job. There are fridges and kettles in the apartments that work well, also a hairdryer but it’s connected inside the drawer and you may struggle if you have long hair like myself as the wire not very long but I managed. The food was excellent, always hot and plenty of choice in the buffet restaurant the salads and desserts were to die for and most nights they had a different theme ie Italian or Mexican among others. We didn’t get chance to eat in the a la cart restaurant as it was not up and running during our stay. The food at the pool restaurant was also really good and cooked fresh to order. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful and so friendly, special thanks go to Eva, David, Ari’s, Chris 1 and 2, Michael and Lucia who looked after us so well. The entertainment got better day by day and the girls from the entertainment team, Pattie and Becca were amazing friendly and fun. All in all we had a fantastic two weeks and would recommend this hotel.
