Flora Hotel Apartmens

I don’t normally complain but ,,,, We stayed at the flora hotel apartments for 2 weeks. Rooms basic beds are very hard , rooms and was cleaned every other day, bins also emptied every other day . Should have been room clean day before checking out don’t get cleaned or bin emptied . We was half board and we had breakfast in the flora bar which was nice could have been a little more warmer. The evening meal was in the restaurant next door well what can I say ,,,, it was shocking have a set menu and that runs for 14 days so if your there like us you eat the same for 2 weeks , there was a choice of soup or garlic bread to start 2 pasta dishes meatballs and what suppose to look like pork dish served on bed of couscous and calamari .. we decided after twice going we will eat out every night, .. our room we did ask for on the front which we did get yes noisy at night but didn’t bother us at all. ( great for people watching 🤣🤣🤦‍♀️) even watched the magic dancing water show from balcony must say that is not worth the hour long and glad I didn’t pay out the money to watch….. pool at flora first few days we had there then went everyday to the beach as I fished something out pool before going for a swim then realised it was a cockroach that came to life and was running around the pool area then we saw another 2,,,,. Went to pool few days before leaving and the pool of you wanted to go in was very dirty bits floating and all on bottom of pool ,, don’t think they ready maintain there pool at all could do with a sweep round and pool clean everyday. No I would not stay here again!!!!

We stayed at the Flora Hotel Apartments at beginning of October. The apartments were roomy and clean with a small balcony facing the main strip. We ere on the 4th floor so had a view of the sea. The mattresses were really hard but the aircon worked well and there was enough storage space with a safe available. The door to our room didn’t close properly, you had to slam it closed. The cleaners left our door open the whole day whilst we were out, luckily nothing was stolen. The staff at the hotel were friendly, especially the waiter serving our food. We opted for half board which was a huge mistake. We ate at the restaurant next door to the Flora, Georgias Alvi Restaurant and it was awful. We had only a few options, 2 spaghetti options, hardly any meat or sauce, a Greek dish which looked like dog food on couscous and calamari. We were made to feel like paupers only having a cheap meal even though we had paid for this in our half board option. We are there twice, giving it a second chance but it was terrible. We ate out every other night. The breakfast at the Flora sports bar was much better and had a few options so no complaints in relation to the breakfast. The apartments are situated in a very busy part of the strip surrounded by numerous bars. The windows aren’t double glazed so you will hear a lot of loud noise until about 2am. It’s pretty obvious when you choose these apartments that it will be noisy so shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s only a 2 star so for the cost of bed and breakfast it’s ok, don’t waste your money on half board. The hotel should stop offering this as the restaurant next door where food is offered is letting them down. I wouldn’t book here again but for a budget traveller then it’s ok, rooms clean and roomy.
