Gava Waterman Island Cottages

Think before booking not cleaned from previous guests, duscusting, owners wasn't interested. Mouldy food, dirty loo, dirty bedding and towels, couldn't see out of windows as very dirty, tryed to contact number in welcome pack, person wasn't interested

In september 2 weken in het hotel verbleven. WAT.EEN.PLEK! Prachtig!! Hotelkamer met prachtig uitzicht. Schoon en modern. Hier en daar wat aandachtspunten: gaten in de muur, verf die mist, kapotte bank etc. Schoonmaak prima. Vergaten wel vaak alles aan te vullen. Ook de notitie dat het resort aan “groene” aandachtspunten deed zoals handdoeken pas meenemen als ze op de grond liggen klopt niet… Wij deden makkelijk 2 dagen met onze handdoeken alleen elke dag hingen er schone… Ookal al lagen ze nog niet op de grond. Jammer!! Eten was gemiddeld. Veelal dezelfde smaken en gerechten over de dagen. Veel groente en salades, pluspunt! Het ontbijt was geweldig! Reis naar de locatie viel zwaar. Vliegtuig 1,5 uur, 45 minuten transfer naar de haven, 1 uur met de ferry, 30 minuten met de auto naar het resort. Animatie was elke dag aanwezig. Vanaf 10u/12u met de boombox bij het zwembad. Kei en kei hard. Oordopjes geadviseerd 😉 Voor de rest was er veel geregeld en te doen. Kidsclub aanwezig! De SPA is een aanrader. Voor nog geen €30 een half uur een massage. Heerlijk ontspannen! Verder veel aanbod. Resort ligt afgelegen. Je moet overal met een auto naar toe. Wel een nadeel, je moet een auto huren. Dit ook gedaan, goed geprijsd voor 1 dag. Kan in het resort geregeld worden. Verder is het eiland te verkennen in 1 dag. TIP! Zwembaden schoon en netjes. Alleen die ligbedjes… wat een ELLENDE!! Overal hangen blaadjes dat er geen handdoekje gelegd mag worden voor 10u, daarvoor worden ze verwijderd. Nou grootste grap ooit! Vanaf 06:00 uur(!!!!!!) lag alles al bijna vol. Niemand deed er wat aan. Dus kwam je later in de ochtend om te zwemmen, geen een bedje te bekennen. Afdaling naar de zee is best stijl. Kiezeltjes waar je overheen loopt. Meerdere keren uitgegleden.. Maar eenmaal beneden: WAUW! Zee is goed te bereiken. Voldoende activiteiten: kajak, surfboard en een lucht/spring kussen. Prachtige plek. Wederom een ELLENDE met de ligbedjes. Een heerlijke vakantie gehad! Echt genoten! Brac heeft echt ons hart gestolen!♥️

My husband and I went for a week and stayed in a first floor junior suite (they're 4 in a block so we had neighbours below and next door). Rooms are BASIC and very dark even when it's streaming sunshine outside, the balcony is a decent size but has a canopy over so was in shade for 90% of the day, views were out to the back of reception and the forest cottages, there was no privacy and it felt very claustrophobic, like a tiny village. Noise was also a problem, the resort itself is isolated, but the whole place was very noisy as you're all on top of each other, the walls to the apartments are also paper thin so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs! The apartments were also dirty, there was literal excrement on our toilet seat when we checked in, the floors were so dirty your feet and socks turned black after walking on them for a while, I don't think the bathroom got a proper clean the whole week we were there. I also booked a birthday celebrations package with the hotel as it was my husbands 51st, cost me 84euro and was supposed to include 10 balloons, all we got was a couple of cheap banners which were sellotaped to the walls - ABSOLUTE CON! There was a woman who popped in to check and she just shook her head then left without saying anything else?! As for the pool areas, beach and sunbeds, if you want a good spot by the pool you'll need to be quick, they're all taken by 10am, as for the beach you'll need to be down there by 8am if you want a spot and that was us outwith the peak season, even though there's a kids pool they still take over the adult pool, so you'll have screaming kids to contend with all day too. The drinks are absolutely watered down, I had 5 cocktails and felt sober as a judge, the food for breakfast and lunch was okay, but for dinner we ended up going to Milna nearly every night as the hotel buffet dinner was so bad with the worst wine I've ever tasted. Ended up leaving early to go into Split to finish our holiday off, absolute worlds apart, amazing hotel, amazing food, amazing city, we loved every minute (and drinks which actually have alcohol in them). If you want to go to Croatia, ditch this place and stay in Split and do daytrips to the islands if you want to see them.

Beautiful Gava waterman resort...from the moment we walked into the reception the magic started. Beautiful landscaping, olive trees, lavender, rosemary and lush palm trees.We stayed in the forest cottages. Stunning very quiet, surrounded with birds singing and nature. The sea is warm with lots of water sports and great swimming. Amazing selection of food and drinks and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We will definitely come again. Brac is a beautiful island and the Gava waterman has been a wonderful experience. Thank you. Mary and Gordon Canada

Nous avons séjourné 04/09 AU 12/09/24 Entre amies Un hôtel plein de charme avec une vue à couper le souffle... Voilà ce qui peut résumer rapidement cet endroit………. Accueil : les agents du personnel de la réception qui manque de réactivité et d’efficience pas souriant - Ne parler pas un mot allemand ni français que anglais, tout le monde ne parle pas anglais !! Une mention particulière pour la dame management qui parlé allemand elle pourra vous apporter tous les aides.et surtout sa gentillesse…. Les bungalows waouh magnifique sont confortables et vous font plutôt croire à un camping qu’à un hôtel 4 étoiles, attention le ménage n’est pas fait le lendemain de votre arrivé en 25 ans voyage, j’ai jamais vus ça…. Bravo aux agents d'entretien très gentilles également !! Restauration : Pour les repas au bout de trois jours les mêmes plats poulet porc beef poisson toujours le même avec une autre sauce ou nature. Les repas sont servis froid, fromage chaud on pourrait mettre au frais …également le beurre. Le matin le jambon est charcuterie était chaud résulta, il a tourné immangeable. Aucune spécialité Croatie. Pour la capacité de l’hôtel le buffet est trop petit ,le personnelle pas souriant, même pas un bonjour à revoir. Bar : en revanche les boissons disponibles en All inclusive plus ne sont pas de qualité qu’il s’agisse des boissons alcoolisées ou non alcoolisées (coca, vin, etc.). Également le café et cappuccino sont payant dommage !!en cas de pluie aucun bar est un l’intérieure dommage. Animations : une vraie catastrophe ...NUL NUL NUL aucune animation, oups ci juste une télévision projeté un film…. Quel effort !! en cas de pluie on vous proposer rien on vacancier. L'hôtel dispose d'un accès direct à la mer, mais s'agissant de la Croatie, et plus particulièrement de l'ile de Brac, vous n'aurez pas de plage de sable fin, mais plutôt une crique très typique de l'île avec un ponton pour vous jeter à l'eau, et également une structure gonflable pour petits et grands. Depuis cet endroit, vous pourrez emprunter gratuitement un canoë ou bien encore un paddle pour aller. Faire un tour sur l'eau. Conclusion : Dans ma famille nous avons une agence de voyage allemande, je ne pense pas propose votre hôtel car au niveaux de langue c’est très compliqué et surtout pas animation, et beaucoup de chose à revoir !! dommage car l’hôtel est vraiment magnifique.
