Mercure Hotel Raphael Wien

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet – zentral und dennoch ruhig gelegen. Das Haus selbst ist allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was sich vor allem im Zustand des Badezimmers zeigt: alte Ausstattung und teilweise beschädigte Armaturen, die offenbar nicht repariert werden. Die Zimmer sind dafür angenehm geräumig und sauber. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das sehr gute Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Eine Hotelbar gibt es leider nicht. Insgesamt spiegelt sich der etwas günstigere Preis im Vergleich zu anderen 4-Sterne-Hotels vor allem im Zustand der Einrichtung wider.

We stayed in room 106, very noisy, as soon as breakfast started we couldn’t sleep. All we could hear was the chairs being scrapped across the floor. Insulation very poor in the rooms, we could hear everything in the adjoining rooms and the lift pinging when it arrived and leaves, lots of banging of doors. Plumbing also very loud when anybody was using the bathrooms above. We asked after the first night if we could move to a higher floor, without even looking the receptionist said they were full. We asked about moving the next night, same answer without looking, full. Heating broken and not fixed after asking 3 times. We know the hotel didn’t have a bar which we looked past and it’s a bit out of the centre but too many compromises for a poor hotel. Stay somewhere else please!

Hotel distante dal centro (40 minuti a piedi) sicuramente ben servito, molto vicino alla linea U3/6 e alla fermata del bus. Di sera però secondo me in zona stazione c’è da aver paura.. Colazione abbondante con buffet molto ricco. L’arredamento andrebbe decisamente rivisto; e le pulizie dovrebbero essere un po’ più accorte. Le foto di presentazione non corrispondono al prenotato: ho prenotato una suite perché non c’era altra possibilità in 4; il bagno aveva la doccia con la vasca (pericolosa a mio parere); il divano letto aveva letteralmente un buco dove c’erano i cuscini quindi molto scomodo per dormirci. In linea generale mi sento di consigliarlo per una vacanza senza bambini, e di pochi giorni.
