Locanda Vivaldi

The hotel is beautiful. Superb position. A few steps away from the bridge of sighs. Our room was stylish with wonderful views. What makes this hotel extra special though, is the fantastic rooftop terrace. Being able to watch the sunset with a glass of wine made for some wonderful photos and memories.

The Staff helped with every need. The front desk are able to give you any information that you need. Super friendly and glad to help you. The restaurant has an excellent breakfast in the morning. The rooftop bar was always nice to be there after a long day. The view from the bar is spectacular.

Hotel Locanda is ideally located with a short walk to San Marco square but also to the much lest busy and more local via garibaldi with excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed salvmeria which had amazing cicchetti. You are a 15 minute walk to rialto and a fun spot to explore the small streets out to north side of Venice. The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful, and made an excellent breakfast. The rooftop terrace looking over the grand canal is a spectacular spot for breakfast and at night playing card with the kids while watching the streets and water at night. We stayed in a quad superior with a small balcony big enough for a chair and some relaxing time to read and relax. We stayed with our 10 and 11 year olds and the room has one queen and two twins and very high ceilings. It was extremely comfortable. Can’t say enough positive about this hotel. We very much hope to be back.

This really is a great Place to stay, a central location overlooking the Grand Canal a short walk to St Marks square. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are traditional Venetian tastefully furnished and very clean.

Loved our stay at the apartment in Venice. It's in a really quiet courtyard with a little balcony (2) of the nearby canal. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and even carried our bags to the apartment, which we greatly appreciated.
