Park Hotel Argento

My 85th birthday was celebrated in my hometown of Gallicano (Lu) and at the same time our recently wedding with great success with family and friends. With my wife we were driving to France and decided to have several stops on the way one of which was to be at the above hotel. Instead of booking through a booking site I decided to make the reservation direct and spoke to the general manager Mr Carlo Lazzeri. Who, on arrival at about 4.00 pm, welcomed us. After signing in we were escorted to room 329, an upgrade junior suite. (It always pays to reserve a room direct) The room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the town of Levanto and the opposite green hills. The king size bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful Egyptian linen and soft pillows. A minibar, personal safe, complimentary slippers, local bottled water, coffee and tea maker were available and well stocked. As a welcoming gesture, there was also a bottle of bubbly with a congratulation note from the manager on behalf of the staff. The bathroom had a double shower with excellent Bulgari cosmetics. Two bathrobes and large bath towels. We went for dinner at about 7.30pm. The restaurant again has view overlooking the hills. With white linen and immaculately dressed personnel who were welcoming and reassuring we had a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. We weren’t disappointed by the choice of our dishes. My wife decided on the “ Ligurian style Bass, with a gentle dressing of pine nuts and olives” That she found very tasty. Being a lover of pasta, I was recommended the” Pasta mista with sea food and “creamy potatoes” ….truly enjoyable and I would recommend it highly. For dessert we had decided on a Cappuccino Croccante but we were surprised to receive a celebration cake wishing me a very happy birthday that the rest of the clients joined in singing. After a well rested night we went for breakfast and a smiling Giovanna welcomed us explaining how to approach and enjoy the buffet dishes on display. Needless to say it was very comprehensive. We had decided to stay a second night, as we were in the vicinity of the Cinque terre we spent the day in Vernazza. We had the previous day toured around Monterosso al mare. The evening dinner was as succulent as the previous day and we had the added bonus of meeting the restaurant manager Dario, who spent some time with us being fluent in many languages. He will ensure the best welcoming of the different nationalities that use this wonderful hotel. Thank you Mr Lazzari and the rest of the personnel for a superb stay.

Great place to stay in Levanto or if visiting the Cinque Terre region generally. Great Breakfast, and Spa / Pool. The Hotel is very clean and the rooms were well serviced and cleaned every day. It has a nice Bar and the staff were without exception very friendly and helpfull. The Hotel is very convienent to the Train Station and within 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Town although there is a shuttle service available from the Hotel which is very prompt.

We had the perfect experience in this hotel and we really recommend staying here if you want to visit the cinque terre Hôtel is really well maintained, beautiful and clean Personnel is really nice and helpful. Special thanks to Franky at reception and Sara in the breakfast room. Both adorable ! Ready to get access to the town and the station thanks to their free shuttle service. Food is great. Spa area is really nice, and relaxing. Rooms are spotless and quite big ! A shake the weather was not great and we could not really use the swimming pool.
