TH Pizzo Calabro Porto Ada Village

Hotel Porto Ada sieci TH a w zasadzie wioska wakacyjna położona w Kalabrii niedaleko miasteczka Pizzo (9 km). Niestety położona na pustkowiu, w okolicy niczego nie ma ani sklepów, restauracji itp. Plaża z leżakami i parasolami (bez dopłaty od 4 rzędu a nie jak w opisie hotelu od 2-go) około 300-500 metrów od wioski w zależności od położenia domku, przejście na plaże przez sosnowy lasek. Na plaży bar z napojami soft i piwkiem w ramach all inclusive. Na terenie hotelu bar przy basenach (jeden duży i dwa mniejsze) oraz restauracja i mały plac zabaw dla dzieci, boisko i estrada na występy animatorów i zabawy dla dzieci. Wioska składa się z kilkudziesięciu 1-pietrowych domków w ładnym zadbanym i czystym ogrodzie. Pokoje z tarasem dobrze działającą klimatyzacją i sejfem w cenie, plus tv płaskie bez polskiego kanału. W łazience brodzik i bidet. Niestety ogólnie standard pokoi słaby (stare meble). Pokoje sprzątane codziennie. Teraz trochę o opcji all inclusive, to w zasadzie jej włoska odmiana, daleko im do all Tureckiego czy Hiszpańskiego, Portugalskiego czy Cypryjskiego, do Egiptu, Tunezji i Maroka tez im daleko. Można by powiedzieć że to prawie opcja full board (3 posiłki). Śniadania super monotonne non stop to samo, lnuch serwowane potrawy ale za to często rybki i owoce morza z grilla (były nawet mule). Wybór bardzo slaby, owoce to jabłka, śliwki, kiwi, melony też słabizna z uwagi na region. Kolacje trochę bogatsze ale bez szału. Oczywiście królują pizza i pasta. Wybór napojów alkoholowych w opcji all też minimalny, dodatkowo podzielony na strefy czasowe piwo i wino, likiery od 12 d 24, a mocne alkohole od 21 do 24. Personel miły i uprzejmy barmani też. Korzystaliśmy z 2 wycieczek fakultatywnych do Pizzo, Tropei oraz na Sycylię do Taorminy. Wycieczki drogie (Sycylia) długi dojazd plus przeprawa promowa do Mesyny, ale widoki włoskich miasteczek są boskie szczególnie Tropea i Taormina Ii rekompensują niedogodności. Generalnie jesteśmy zadowoleni pogoda raczej dopisała, plaża czysta z kamykami (potrzebne buty do pływania). Hotel i standardy dla niewymagających.

We've been on TH Porto Ada hotel on our honey moon and we danced here first dance from our wedding sung live by Luca...unforgettable moments - thank you!!!

Be ware if you are booking via any agency. This hotel is not 4* by ANY and NO international standard. I am shocked to even see reviewes that state, that the "structure is well kept and clean". I highly doubt we stayed in the same hotel. No, seriously, the rooms are filthy. I tried to resolve with agency, but they have been told that rooms are this way and there is nothing hotel can do about it. After 5 days (!!!), I was then offered the room change - why if all rooms are the same? Cleaning ladies were nice, but it does not make up for filth in rooms. Shower has water stains all over glass doors, build up mold in every corner, faucet batteries are shocking - they look like they have not been cleaned in months. Terrace is disgusting, there should be a lot of maintenance done. Beds are uncofortable, matterasses are clearly old. Do not search for coffe or tea making facilities or robes, you will not find them. The minifridge was very dirty and moldy. Lets not stop in rooms, lets move to restaurant. Plates and glassware in restaurant were never properly cleaned, I mostly needed to search for clean plate, if there even were any. Staff in restaurant is inadequate and not welcoming. Food quality was very mediocre with some shockingly disgusting dishes (carbonara for example). Food repetitive, with no creativity whatsoever for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. As most Italians left and in the hotel there was more internationale clientele, the ice cram was swapped from local gelateria to industrial Carte d'or, as international guests do not care (said to me by the owner of said gelateria). Hotel is also not compliant with GDPR and is completely careless of privacy of guests by writing NAMES of clients on the tags on the table (why it cannot be room number, like everywhere else is beyond me). Bars are ok, however it is tedious to go and ask barman (who are not very friendly) for a plastic cup (2dl) of water each time you are thirsty. Selection of drinks and coctails is very poor for all inclusive resort and you are limited by riddiculous timeliness for certain beverages - this goes both for beach bar and pool bar. Hotel areal - clean and well kept at first glance but more time you spent there more problems you notice. Bathrooms are in horrendous state both on the beach and by the pool. Also buildings are in need of reconstruction. Pools - edges are not kept clean, there is build up mold. 3 pools are advertised, 2 of them are only opened after 15.30. There is also a riddiculous obbligation to wear swimming cap to pool - kindly move to 21st century. Beach is over 500m from hotel, shuttle service would be advisable. Beach is ok, sea as well. Amenities on beach are kept properly but sunbeds are very basic, with no sunshields. Animation - very poor, if you are not Italian, you will be completelly ignored and it does not matter if you actually speak Italian or not. Evening programme is of poor taste and quality. Might be ok for kids - that was my opinion untill I witnessed following situation on the beach: me and couple of other guests were sitting on shore. Babyclub came and animators let kids run to the water and splash guests, instead of moving them 3 metres. Anyway, one boy was dragging the second by hands on rocks on shore. Poor kid was screeming, animators did nothing. At the end, there was a kid with at least 2 bloody wounds, not taken care of/ have wounds cleaned by animators, but he was sent back to sea after 5 mins. Staff at reception somewhat polite, but only reactive, not proactive or trying to resolve guest request in any way - you need to come to them with the solution. Not ideal if you do not know the place. No massage/ spa treatment options are available. Summary: the place is trashy, do not reccomend and will surelly not return.

We had a very nice stay. We've found in Porto Ada Village all we've been looking for. We have spacious room, with enough space for our family and great view to the garden. Room has been cleaned every day. As we all love sea food we were very happy with food during our stay. The pool area and beach were also clean, but in the sea and on the beach 50m from hotel beach there were quite a lot of dirts. The biggest minus from my perspective was that guests were very laud till late night, somtimes till 1 - 2 am.

A pleasant family holiday. The hotel is aimed at families with children, there are various programs. There are plenty of sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. The hotel grounds are large and full of greenery.
