Grand Mercure Hanoi

Great hotel and the staff are the nicest people. Hannah, Viet, Ann, the staff at Level 2 restaurant, Front desk, room service are top notch. We were upgraded to king suite as platinum members with executive lounge access. They even arranged birthday celebration for our daughter who turned 4 with discount on Spa services. Had the best time here, loved the food and Hanoi too :-)

If you want to be happy with exercise, here! I love the Grand Mercure gym, it's located on a rooftop, so I'm really happy to work out while looking out. And when I'm not familiar with equipment, my trainer PT DUNG 😍kindly explains it!! Thanks to you, I'm less worried about belly fat!!! Thank you!!!

Gorgeous new hotel, spacious rooms, good breakfast buffet (mix of western and asian foods) and my spa treatment was pleasant. It was a wonderful reprieve from the chaos of the city. We stayed on an executive floor and made use of the complimentary lounge and afternoon tea - this was a special touch of our stay. We were in a deluxe twin and it was ideal for us (mother and 12 year old son). Bedding was soft and comfortable. I loved the fresh flowers in the room. I cannot fault the hotel itself - however, this was our first time in Hanoi and in hindsight, it would have been better to stay in the Old Quarter for proximity to attractions. We booked tours, but were unable to be picked up from the hotel directly as outside of the range (e.g. we had to travel by taxi to meet our cyclo tour). Due to traffic it was a 15-20 minute ride into the Old Quarter.
