Disheartening Birthday Stay – A Series of Unfortunate Events
I chose La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miami Airport East to celebrate my 33rd birthday, anticipating a comfortable stay near the airport. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, I was informed that housekeeping services were only available if requested a full day in advance. While I understand this policy, I believe daily housekeeping should be a standard service, especially at this price point. The parking situation was equally frustrating. Despite paying for parking, I found the lot consistently full upon returning in the evenings, forcing me to park in distant areas and walk back late at night. Additionally, the room conditions were disappointing. There was a noticeable odor, and the bathroom had visible stains. The air conditioning unit was excessively noisy, and the television had connectivity issues. These issues persisted despite bringing them to the attention of the front desk. I was also surprised to find that amenities such as the shuttle service and breakfast were not available, contrary to what I had expected based on other La Quinta locations. Given the challenges I faced, I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and consider offering compensation for the inconveniences experienced during my stay.
