On 4-12-2025 , Our flight Leaving MBJ to JAX via MIA was severely delayed, so we missed our connection from Miami to Jax. The Airlines sent us to Envision Hotel for the night, so we could get our flight to Jackson on 13th. Upon arrival at the notice, you will notice that it is quite dated and in desperate need of some renovations. We was only there about 5 hrs or so because we had an early morning departure. Being worn out from a long day of being in Airports and traveling, we fell asleep right away, but my wife complained that she felt like something bite her. In the shower the next morning, she notice red blotches on her face, back and shoulders that was very itchy. I didn't notice anything at the time, but later that day, I notice swollen, itchy areas on my arm, neck and back. My spot aren't as noticeable as my wife because she is more fair skinned. I was going to call them, but I knew they would deny it, but we know for sure that it wasn't there before going to bed. You can tell right away that it may have been a Days Inn previously because it looks like the furniture and plumbing for back in the day. I do have photos of the bites, the redness and swelling.

Let me say that the accommodations were fine, we needed a place to stay the night before we left for our cruise. Our big issue was the shuttle service they provided for us in the morning. I understand it is a third party service, but they need to police it more. First the night attendant failed to take care of getting our pickup scheduled. The person at the desk in the morning had not record of our pickup and called right away to get it taken care of, so we were all set. The cost per the website, and per the desk person was $15 per person for the shuttle service. Once we arrived at port, I was asked how we would be paying. I said cash and he proceeded to show me his phone with an $80.00 charge. We explained that this was supposed to be $15 per person. This is was unacceptable, did not give me any change from the $50.00 I gave him. I was not going to cause a scene, I voice my displeasure and we exited and went on our way. I called the hotel to explain the situation, all we could do at that point. Not sure if this was taken care of, just beware. A Lyft or Uber might be a better choice to get to port.

Run run run away!!! I was so close to sleep in my car... The room was soo badly cleaned with hair on the sheets. When complained, they just gave us new sheets for us to change... Then we went to the bathroom, and there was vomit on the walls, not cleaned. We complained to the front desk and thankfully, he was nice enough to move us... He moved us to another room that was cleaner... but not ideal... honestly... do not waste your energy, time or money on this motel... not worth a penny... the worst hotel we have even been to... The only positive is that the front desk guy was receptive to our complaints and tried to do something about it.
