Wir haben 14 Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht und haben es als sehr persönlich und aufmerksam geführtes, äußerst gepflegtes 5-Sterne-Hotel erlebt. Perfekt gelegen, um die Insel per Mietwagen und bei Wanderungen zu erkunden. Nach Santa Cruz zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten, nach Funchal- Altstadt per PKW auch nur ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten. Obwohl in Flughafennähe, keine Lärmbelästigung durch an- und abfliegende Maschinen.
Ein super Hotel. Wir waren zuerst ob der Lage sehr kritisch - direkt an der Autobahn (mit eigener Ausfahrt) und direkt am Flughafen. Von der Autobahn merkt man nichts und bei Flughafen sieht man die Flieger in der Landung sehr nah, stört aber nicht. Von den Zimmern aus unglaublicher Blick aufs Meer. Zimmer ein wenig altmodisch, aber durchaus gut. Frühstück sehr gut, Restaurant ebenfalls sehr gut, aber für Madeira Verhältnisse teuer. Für uns war das Hotel der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Touren über die Insel. Der kostenfreie Parkplatz und die Nähe zur Autobahn machten es hier sehr einfach; ganz anders, als wenn man in Funchal wohnt und sich immer den Berg "hocharbeiten" muss um auf die Autobahn zu kommen. Personal supernett, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. In Funchal zahlt man für einen vergleichbaren Meerblick ein Vielfaches.
Fantastic location. The friendliest of staff all of whom, without exception ensured that our stay was as always, perfect. I cannot thank them enough. The hotel is located Nr the airport which is very convenient after a long flight.having stated that, we were not aware of any noise of aircraft. I cannot wait to re-visit this very special Hotel. The owner should rightly be very proud of the hotel and it’s fantastic staff. Thank you

I have just spent 2 weeks in Madeira. The last week being at the Albatroz club. What a trully amazing place. I travel a lot and thought Monaco Cannes and St Tropez And Club 55 would take some beating. But The Albatroz Club is next level being such an amazing exclusive Club having only 20 rooms so very private with the most amazing views including infinity pools right on the sea and staff who were there to cater to yr every need. The room was lovely looking right out on the sea.. Claudia Tony and the team catered for my every need serving amazing a la carte menu in a beautiful restaurant. The manager Diogo and Adrianna made me feel so welcome and made my time there so special. They arranged an unforgettable trip to the firework display in Funchal New Years Eve. Which has been in the guiness book of world records 3 times. The atmosphere in Funchal was electric. I felt completely safe being a solo visitor. And i had multiple complimentary bottles of great Champagne delivered to my room.. I have just got back to the UK to complete some business. but l am already planning another trip in the next week or so and returning to the Albatroz. I would highly recommend the Albatroz for anybody looking for a high quality retreat. if you looking for a totally exclusive break, contact Diogo direct, he will more than look after you.
This is our 3rd stay in this wonderful hotel,worthy of a 5 star rating. We stayed in one of the villas just slightly away from the hotel,so peaceful and beautiful, and spotlessly clean. All the staff in this hotel are worthy of 5 stars too, , so friendly and accommodating to their guests needs. Food delicious, especially the desserts !! I would have appreciated a vegetarian option, but this wasn't a particular problem. We ventured yet again on an outing with Alselmo from Madeira Eco Holiday, who took us around some lovely places and sights of Maderia. We were introduced on a previous visit, and this is our third time with him,and not the last. His Knowledge is wonderful,a very friendly and easy going person,who puts us at ease,we would highly recommend this private and relaxed tour !! We would definitely rate all mentions as 5stars and beyond, please consider staying here, if you'd like all that is relaxing... Sincerely. Anne &John Pack
