Feriendorf Rugana

We spent a week with our family in this resort. The apartments are clean and have everything you need. It is worth to pay extra for a Komfort apartment, the furniture was new and very tasteful. We saw the standard apartments, and although they were nice, the furniture was slightly less quality and apartments were less spacious. Wifi connection was good. We visited the sauna twice and really enjoyed it - sauna area is modern and clean, sauna nice and hot and also the relaxation area very tasteful. It was a lottery every day to book a sauna slot for the next day due to Covid restrictions, but that's nobody's fault. Probably a good thing as we had lots of space to ourselves in the sauna area as a result. Coast was a short walk through the forest. Only things we think could be improved are the lighting in the park as it was very dark (bring a torch!), and roads leading to the apartments had holes everywhere, some substantial, and they seemed to get bigger by the day due to bad weather. Overall I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a time out from everything.

We use to spend a lazy week every summer here. The area is quiet and relaxing; good for easy cycling and long walks along the Baltic seacoast. Perfect for family vacation with a dog. The best time is July/August. Long fine sand beach is in a five minutes walk, fantastic "Caribbean" beach and dunes in Glowe are in 10min drive. The territory has a lot of free space, the bungalows are organized in small groups located far from each other. The apartments are of different quality, from basic to newly renovated boutique-type cottages. The complex has a small bakery, basic grocery and a restaurant. Wellness area with sauna and a small in-door pool are available in the administrative building. Mini-golf, small zoo, kids club (seasonal), playgrounds, football field, rental bikes. The place is pretty isolated and poorly connected to the rest of the world, car is required.

We booked a 2 bedroom and what we thought was going to be a 2 bathroom apartment for 5 nights for 4 adults, this turned out to have one bathroom and one downstairs toilet with wash basin. We were a little disappointed with the apartments kitchen and bathroom facilities but found it was adequate for our stay. We had shopped for our groceries on our way into the resort and found when we got there that there was no freezer compartment with the refrigerator, so guess what we had for dinner... We were surprised to find that not only did we have to pay extra for the laundry of the sheets and towels that we used, but we also had to makeup our own beds ourselves. The leisure facilities we used were good, the indoor pool is nice and clean with sunbed recliners around and the sauna and steam room were very nice. There is a bakery and a small shop on site with a limited selection of groceries, but they don't sell fresh meat. We ate one evening at the Restaurant on site, the food was good and the service friendly. We hired bikes for 2 days and it was wonderful to be out in the lovely country side with plenty of bike trails. It truly is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing area to visit.

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung schon zum zweiten mal gebucht. Die Anlage mit Schwimmbad und Sauna ist sehr schön angelegt. Der Naturstrand, die Steilküste und der Küstenwald haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir bekommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren schon sehr oft in Rugana. Immer in anderen Häusern. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen. Darum immer wieder Rugana. Aber was wir jetzt erhielten nein. Wir haben uns vorher über Bild informiert. Aber das Objekt C53 ist wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Die Steckdosen in der Küche , der Toaster,der Toilettendeckel in der Gästetoilette defekt. Zumindest wurden die Steckdosen gepariert u.der Toaster getauscht. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Stieltopf in der Küche.Keinen Fön, keinen 2. Sessel. Die Couch u.der kl.Tisch haben ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich. Das Objekt ist lieblos eingerichtet und abgewohnt. Schade für das Geld um da einen Urlaub zu verbringen. Das hatten wir noch nie!!!!!
