Riu Caribe

Stayed at the hotel for my partner’s birthday, and we had a great time. The room was clean, the staff was great, and the RIU parties were amazing. The house keeping staff even decorated our room on my partner’s birthday without me telling them it was his birthday. That was very thoughtful. I’m definitely planning another trip soon.

The location was perfect. The food and drinks were excellent and with so much choice. Our room was perfect and cleaned EVERY day including sheet changes, just by asking or using the door tag. No issues with sun loungers either around the pool or on the beach. Overall, the staff were simply amazing. I have never known a more dedicated set of people who put on dazzling shows in the theatre, and routine events every day around the pools with such enthusiasm, and always with a smile. The 'Rui Party' Zone events day & night were simply stunning and outrageous !! I was totally shocked at the amount of effort and work put in by so many staff to put on such a great events! Only one thing to point out. If your between 16-17 or not quite 18 even by a month or two, you can't go to the 'Rui Party' Zone events, which for any young person of that age is VERY disappointing as the experience is something they would totally enjoy, EVEN if they weren't allowed to buy alcohol. It is safe, well managed by security and i saw NO sign of any trouble at all. They keep on top of and constantly watch everything and everyone, which makes it a safe place to be. Maybe a change in the rule to allow 16/17 years old's to enjoy it ?

Me and my boyfriend have just stayed here for 11 nights and we had a great time, everything was great and so friendly we had a small issue with the room but they changed us over the next day it was a breeze. The food is good and the drink selection is great I would definitely recommend this hotel and the view is incredible! I’ve had two friends book since I’ve stayed here I realy really recommend

Don’t listen to bad reviews! Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Literally every member of staff was friendly from start to finish. Rooms very clean and cleaned daily. Also I’ve seen people moan about the pool chairs saying not enough space. We never had this problem unless we went out later in the day and even then we still found somewhere to sit/lay even if it wasn’t right by the pools. Few rowdy youngsters from time to time but what do you expect in Cancun plus people watching can be quite funny. Food was really good always lots of choices and they do mix it up from time to Time plus always food from outside bar and sports bar to have. No complaints at all. Best holiday I’ve had in quite some time. Only negative and it’s not on the hotel just Cancun in general and probably most places around the world is make sure you take plenty of sun cream, paracetamol, and anything chemist related as the prices in the shops are crazy. Think I paid £35 for paracetamol, throat sweets and nasel spray. Which back home would be more like £8.
