I contacted Mrs. Maria for a surprise wedding proposal at the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa. Maria, Nina, the Entertainment team, Food and Bev lady, the boat house , the florist and the maintenance team gave me exactly what I had in mind. It was a great success despite the rain threatening us on this day, Mrs. Maria and her team proved that nothing could stop them. Within one hour everything was ready and it felt like a dream (or exactly how you see on YouTube videos). I highly recommend them if you have any kind of event planned I'm sure you'll definitely get a great value for money service. I would like to personally thank each and everyone who helped me on that day make this proposal memorable. I came back to Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa after 6 years; my last visit was for a birthday surprise in 2019. Six years later I still love the place, the warm greeting and the great customer service. Keep up the great job guys. I am definitely coming back.

Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa is located in the Flic en Flac neighborhood, on the western part of the island, about 50 km from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. This is a beachfront resort that we booked 5 nights for 80,000 Hilton Points per night (5th night free). Check-in was quick and we all got a tasty welcome drink. During check-in both me and my wife got a voucher booklet for both the rooms we booked. We only ended up using the free drink coupons from the booklet. Both our rooms had patio in the back The resort has 2 main pools, an adult only pool and another pool that is split in the kids area and a regular pool. This is a beachfront resort and the beach was quite clean and well maintained. The resort also has a few complimentary aquatic activities. We availed ourselves a paddle boat on 2 days as a complimentary benefit of the resort. As Hilton Gold, we got complimentary breakfast during our stay. The restaurant had wide variety of menu as well as a chef station for eggs/pancakes. For dinner we ate at the hotel for 2 nights, one night at the Ginger Thai Restaurant & Bar and another night at Kesari Restaurant (Indian). We were not that impressed with the Thai restaurant but the Indian restaurant menu was quite extensive and the dishes delicious. Thumbs up: Nice well maintained beachfront property with a beautiful swimmable beach Bedroom, Bathroom all very clean, well maintained. Variety of cuisine restaurants on the property. Plenty of options for buffett breakfast at Pomme d’Amour Restaurant Good recognition for Hilton elites. Thumbs down: Definitely need a car to be staying in this resort otherwise its a bit of a walk to the restaurant area of flic en flac. 80,000 points per night aint cheap!! The place is situated in paradise. Great beach, wonderful staff, great choice of restaurants. It was a perfect week to totally relax and unwind. Nothing negative to add. All good. There are plenty of options to enjoy the ocean and its marine life. Also choices of sea tours. And of course to take the time to use the resort as a base for island day trips, to Port Louis and other sites.

The Resort is a beachfront property with truly unbeatable location. The Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped and the restaurant offered a really nice variety of food as well. The best part was the Staff which was really kind and attentive. Overall, I had a great experience and definitely worth the money. Would Surely recommend.

Everything is top quality will forever return again and again, the best part is the view and the restaurants, the room is amazing clean perfect and cozy , I wouldn’t change anything but I would love to see more restaurants or different menus.
