Domaine De Grand Baie

It is a lovely and cozy hotel. The food was delicious. Amiable staff, especially Sweety. The hotel is full of great art and elegant décor. Loved the downtown location and atmosphere. However, we were a bit disappointed with the spa pool as there was a problem with the heater. The room we stayed in requires maintenance. Big thanks to Mithi who helped our cousin with his stomach pain and brought the food to the room.

Our first stay at Domaine de Grand Baie was exceptional! From the warm interaction over the phone with Wassem for booking to the warm welcome and beautiful smile of Tina, we felt at ease immediately. We booked a one-bedroom appartment and it had ALL the facilities and amenities required. Very neat a beautiful view on the Domaine's garden and amazing sunset. The food is also delicious with a great variety offered for breakfast. Each day with a themed buffet for dinner. Thank you again to the whole team from the reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant. We would recommend at 400%! Will definitely book again soon.

Nice cosy place, most of the staffs are welcoming and helpful. However, we were there for a bachelorette party and were denied access to the indoor pool since we were eight in all. The lady in charge was quite rude to us in the beginning instead of trying to be helpful which is basic customer care. I would suggest time slots booking if there is a restricted number of people who can access the pool. Thank you.

There is lots to like about this hotel but what made it most special was the staff. Each and every staff member was so warm and friendly, and special mention goes to Sweeti, Tina, Taylor and Dev. Our room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. There were a few niggles with the room but these were dealt with. The pool area is lovely although more sunbeds are needed. And the spa is excellent, together with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. The restaurant is good and effort is made to vary the buffet each evening. We loved the entertainment provided on a couple of the evenings, with welcome drinks or happy hour. And the hotel also provides a free shuttle to the beach or town (3 times a day, each way, essential to pre book) as well as a programme of events / visits. The hotel was a great base from which to explore the island with a hire car.

I had an incredible stay at Hotel Grand Baie on the 17th and 18th of March 2025. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel at home,specially the front office manager, Mr Steven who was so friendly and welcoming. The room was so spacious, clean whereby my kids had much space to play and relax. Without forgetting the brillant team from the bar for their prompt and wonderful service-Leck,Alex ,Yeshna..thumps up.
