This is one of the best Hotels we‘ve been. Service… be it Concierge , room, Restaurant…. Fantastisic!! Location Perfect! Just 5 min to go to the water Taxi.. It brings you in 10 min to Valetta, which is really wonderful! Room: we had the Corner Suite (106)…Perfect accomodation! The bed. was really extremly comfortable. The view on the Harbour unbeatable. Rolf top Pool : superior! We had booked with breakfast. Superior Service and delicicous Food to order( no buffet) and freshly made for us! We stayed 10 nights. No day , no night anything to complain about! We do highly recommend for Malta visits to go with the Cugó! Bottom line: Fantastisc! Nicole&Walter

Cugo Gran Macina within the three cities of the Grand Harbour simply is exellent. Why, you may ask? Located in Senglea at the harbour front makes it a "strategic" postion for any Grand Harbour excursion also into Birgu, Cospicua, Valletta and vicinity. The ferry is just across the harbour - some 5 minutes walking. Within minutes one can reach all magnificant churches and museums, fortresses and exibitions abundant. Dining in and out is within a few steps from breakfast to lunch and even better for dinner in waterfront restaurants facing Birgu. So far for the location being topped by the Hotel itself. Housed in 16tiens century fortifications the modern rooms still vibrate former - but now comfortable fortress character, having been an important defence against the turkish troops in 1565, Its nowadays crew being as professional as the former defenders, St. John's knights, and as friendly and helpfull more than you may expect from a 5-star hotel, from concierge to service and cleaning team. Here a special thanks to all of you and the great time we shared with you. The roof top pool not only is good for relaxation after an eventfull day, it also may become the observation place for the maltese rowing teams in the traditional push-pull boats. Eventually they may be accompanied by the harmoneous church bell ringing from the worth the visit churches of great art and deep faith. By the way next up the hill is the Senglea parish church Knisja Maria Bambina - Mary's birth. We felt home and took a bath in Maltas history and culture. We got married two years ago at this hotel, and every year we try return for our anniversary. Located just on the seafront with many restaurants close by, it’s ideally positioned. The rooms are spacious, the majority of which have a lovely view. The staff are all very helpful and polite.

This hotel truly stands out for its charm, excellent service and unbeatable location. My room overlooked the Harbour offering a peaceful and amazing view, the roof top pool view fantastic .Despite being in a lively area, it was remarkably quiet at night. The room itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed for comfort. I was pleasantly surprised with a welcome note and a complimentary bottle of wine, which added a personal touch. What really made the stay exceptional was the staff. The level of customer service was outstanding warm, welcoming, and always focused on guest satisfaction. I’m especially thankful to Nina and the entire team for their kindness and professionalism throughout my stay. Nina kindly guided us with helpful local tips,and the short route to the nearby ferry terminal. The on site restaurant delivered both in atmosphere and high quality cuisine. I wouldn’t hesitate to return this is easily one of the most distinctive and memorable hotels I’ve experienced.

Our experience at the Cugó Gran was beyond incredible and more than we could have ever expected. The place is stunning, in a fortress with super modern decor. The rooms are the perfect temperature and absolutely gorgeous. The staff? I’ve never been to a hotel with nicer, more attentive, more pleasant people who really truly care about their guests. We were staying for a birthday and wedding and they went above and beyond every day for everyone and just made the trip. Count yourself lucky if you get to stay here.
